Hey Hey Hey! Happy Back to School Season! This is the time of year where we’re talking about all the school things pretty much 24/7. School’s started, fall sports are beginning, and everyone’s getting back into our routines. Today, Shay and I have another Let’s Look for you. We’re gonna talk about what’s in our pantries, which is a hot ticket item if you’re trying to get creative with lunches! Before we jump into our pantry talk, let’s do a quick recap…
In January we shared our closets. Spoiler alert, my girl, Lauren, and I are still trying to find a day for her to come and help me. Promise to show you pics when she’s finished though!
In February, we discussed the little things we do every day. From coffee to walking to chatting with girlfriends, I shared all the things I sneak in my days to make them a little extra special
In March, we shared a look at our grocery carts. I find myself enjoying other’s grocery store hauls in search of some new food ideas. Hope it helped you too!
In April, we took a peek at our quiet times and what that looks like/even means!
In May, we took a look at our summer closet staples.
June had us chatting, about our summer schedules.
And last month we shared some of our favorite podcasts and shows to binge.

First up, I’ve shared our big pantry renovation. If you’ve never seen it, check out all the details in this post. I misread our prompt for this month and was panicked that I was gonna be showing you guys our pantry yet again. 🙂

I’ve been on the hunt for some great lunch and snack ideas. I’ve told you I’m never more on my “A” game than I am right now and the dining options in our house right now are proof! One of my friends just recommended I try Costco delivery and well, my life is now changed. {Thank you, Lauren!}. My least favorite part about Costco shopping is always the hauling of the things and when it all arrives on my front door step? Well, that’s simply amazing! Some of these are Costco finds and some are Slaughter House staples…
With two {almost} teen boys, I hear lots of talk about protein. Protein, protein, protein and even more. Costcto has these little snack packs of fully cooked chicken breast. This little pack is 24 grams of protein!
If you’re trying to ditch the sugary creamer but just don’t think you can, TRY THIS flavor of Nut Pods. I magically found them once at my local grocery store and now just order from Amazon. The Cookie Butter flavor is delish and it gives my coffee just enough extra flavor with way less yucky stuff in my morning cup.
Dot’s Pretzels in small individual bags? Yes, please! Am I the only one who needs help with portion control when it comes to Dot’s Pretzels? These are Britt’s favorite school snack or we throw them in a lunch box with a small individual pack of hummus. {Also Costco finds.}
Sometimes you just need a little crunch! PopCorners delivers that! {And well, Costco delivered these!}
I’ve talked about these Wilde Protein Chips before but I spotted them online at Costco! YES! The crunch of a chip with that buffalo flavor while you get protein? YES!
I’m trying to help supply lots of options so their lunches aren’t THE SAME THING EVERYDAY. I don’t like that so I understand my kids don’t want to eat the same thing daily either. Hawaiian Roll sandwiches are a hit. I just had a friend post that she pulls all 12 out of the bag, cuts them in half, adds your meat of choice and cheese of choice, then puts the top back on and cuts them into small sandwiches but puts them back in the bag and the refrigerator. Then when her kids get in from school or need a quick snack, they can pull one out, add some mustard and eat! GREAT idea!
We’ve also had…regular sandwiches, turkey and cheese roll ups, and leftovers so far this school year. What about you??! What’s your favorite go to for school lunches? Trust me when I say, my people will appreciate your ideas!
Happy Back to School Season!
