Which means, Andrea and I are sharing some of our FAVORITES from the week!

This sweet girl headed to second grade missed her first day because she was sick so we recreated the first day on DAY 2! She’s only a few days in but is loving second grade. Her teacher, her friends, her class…lots of FAVORITES for this girl!

Two of my FAVORITE guys had schedules that overlapped last weekend when Tab and his dad ended up in Pittsburgh for the Steelers/Texans game last weekend.

Bowen’s FAVORITE? Getting to play tackle football this season! He’s been watching football since he was born but FINALLY gets to play this fall. And I can’t wait to watch!

I’ve shared this devotional before but it’s worth another share. Jackie Hill Perry’s, Upon Waking Devotional, is a little different than most devotionals I’ve read. She shares how this should be an “appetizer” type of book in addition to reading God’s word. It’s a FAVORITE! Would make a great gift or if you’re looking for a new devotional, try this one!
And while I’m on the subject, my Bible Study group is starting Elijah this fall. I’ve already started and am LOVING it! Fun fact, in Priscilla’s videos she’s standing in the chapel in Adriatica {which is in McKinney and really close to our house}.

Okay, who’s watching??! Here are my quick thoughts…
*I wish they’d start the show earlier in the summer because this is a really hard time to watch three episodes a week of television!
*I’m digging this cast!
*It felt like episode one the crazy began?? Am I right?
*I don’t really have a fan favorite quite yet but am here for different sides of the house. I don’t like when a big group controls the house for weeks!
*Tucker’s outburst last week surprised me!
*And Angela winning HOH AGAIN this early in the season was shocking! I think she might regret her issues with Matt when she watches the show back.
Needless to say, I’ll be watching!

We have a pretty chill weekend before all the fall sports officially begin so I’m going to soak a weekend of rest. Hope you guys have a great one! See you back here on Monday!

I’ve been waiting for your BB thoughts!! So crazy!! And I agree about the big voting blocks. It makes it very boring. I’m loving all the actual game play they are having to do. Best season they’ve had in A W H I L E!!!! I’d rather watch a season like this than a season where everyone plays it safe.
Angela is going to have a lot of regret I think. She’s kind of unhinged and got so so so many of her assumptions so very wrong. Ahh!! Loving it!!
I KNOW! I felt so terrible when Matt was crying about his mom and how Angela had said that about him. As a mom, I was so sad she’d said that!

He works for the NFL as well. Not sure what his official title is but he was on the field for years and retired to take a different role with them.
