Let’s Look-Summer Closet Staples

Happy Wednesday, Friends! Whew! It’s been a week and it’s only Wednesday! ha! How does that happen?! Today is a Let’s Look Wednesday where typically Shay and I share a little peek at something from our lives and we invite you to share yours. Today though Shay’s out of town on vacation so she’s taking the day off.

In January we shared our closets. Spoiler alert, my girl, Lauren, and I are still trying to find a day for her to come and help me. Promise to show you pics when she’s finished though!

In February, we discussed the little things we do every day. From coffee to walking to chatting with girlfriends, I shared all the things I sneak in my days to make them a little extra special.

In March, we shared a look at our grocery carts. I find myself enjoying other’s grocery store hauls in search of some new food ideas. Hope it helped you too!

And last month, we took a peek at our quiet times and what that looks like/even means!

Today we’re talking about our SUMMER CLOSET STAPLES! I haven’t fully stocked all my new summer additions but I’ve made a little list of some new things I’m excited about plus some oldies…

*I legit had this orange set on yesterday and was heading to get ready for bed before I quickly snapped a pic! Summer isn’t here yet and I can already tell you these casual sets are going to be a new summer staple for me! This one above is out of stock but I’ve rounded up several that are very similar… set #1, set #2, set #3, set #4 {I bought set #4 for Mexico and it was perfect! Crazy comfortable, and thin but not see through so I didn’t get hot with pants on.}. These sets are perfect for a day at home or you can dress them all up a bit with some jewelry and sandals. Or in my case yesterday it was perfect for working from home, dropping a kid off, doing the laundry, picking a kid up, working from home a little more, dropping a kid off, etc. You get the idea. 😉

*This is a go-to summer outfit for a girl’s dinner or even church on Sunday morning.  I love this green top with the cutest puff sleeve. It’s hard to see in the picture but it has a little orange/pink stripe trim around the neck and arms. I absolutely LOVE the color, the v-neck, and the length! I’m in the medium and I paired it with these new white flare jeans.

*I don’t have a picture of these but these shorts are a great price and what I grabbed to wear this summer.

And the NUMBER ONE summer closet staple will have to be…

*My tennis skirts! I did an entire post about my love and how it runs deep! Here in Texas, these skirts are THE solution to staying cool while looking cute all summer long!
