Can you even believe another month has slipped right on by since our last Let’s Look post? Seems like it wasn’t that long ago! In either case, Shay and I are here with another peek at the little things in our lives and this month we’re sharing GROCERY CARTS!
Before we jump into groceries, I wanna catch you up. In case you missed other Let’s Look’s from this year, in January we shared our closets. Spoiler alert, my girl, Lauren, and I are still trying to find a day for her to come and help me. Promise to show you pics when she’s finished though!
Last month we discussed the little things we do every day. From coffee to walking to chatting with girlfriends, I shared all the things I sneak in my days to make them a little extra special.
And today we’re sharing GROCERY CARTS! If you guys read here often, then you know I very RARELY go to the grocery store. My typical grocery run looks more like a big order placed online with grocery delivery going down later that day. What I typically do is place a BIG Walmart order to be delivered and then anything I can’t get there I order from our local grocery story for delivery as well. Things like salmon, ground beef, etc. I buy from the grocery store while anything name brand that is EXACTLY the same at any store I order from Walmart. I try to have all the groceries delivered at the same time so we’re SET for the week.
This week was a little crazy post-Spring Break so I did our big grocery order just yesterday. These were the goodies for the week. {A little less food than normal considering it was already Tuesday when I ordered.}
Our Meal Plan for the Week:
*Tuesday-Air Fryer Salmon Bowls-a family favorite I’ve shared over and over on the blog. I cut up salmon into chunks, add blackening seasoning and air fry it. We eat it with cucumbers, edamame, avocado, red onion, broccoli, and sweet chili or sriracha sauce. Basically anything my kids want to add to salmon/rice is a big YES from me.
*Wednesday-Tacos with Texas Caviar Dip {can also be eaten as a salad}, guacamole, and chips.
*Thursday-Breakfast for dinner! Crustless quiches for the win! I’m making a sausage/cheddar and broccoli/bacon/cheddar.
This grocery haul covered lots of after school snacks, lunch stuff, and then dinner. Pretty much after school daily my boys come home starving so they often eat chicken nuggets or scrambled eggs before practice. Bowen’s favorite way to eat chicken nuggets is by then making his own Cane’s sauce. He just mixes mayo and ketchup with some black pepper. One of his friends’ dads did this for them at their house, but he had a few more things to make it extra similar. However, Bowen’s found this is REALLY close and much easier.
Almond milk, Caulipower Chicken Nuggets, Chocolate Milk, Milk {Fairlife brand is our fave}, Tortilla Chips, Eggs, Avocados, Strawberries, Cucumbers…
Texas Caviar ingredients in the back, rice, peanut butter, greek yogurt, ground beef, sausage, turkey bacon, Ranch {a friend introduced me and it’s so much better than Hidden Valley and much better for you}, mayo {for the Cane’s sauce}, snack packs…
Broccoli, cheese, goldfish, and my favorite chopped salad kits. Have you tried the dill pickle salads? DELISH!
And there you have it…a little peek at my “grocery cart” for the week. What’s in YOUR cart this week?
Next month we’re sharing our daily quiet time/prayer time! I hope you’ll join me!
XO
I tried air fryer salmon bowls myself and loved them! Healthy and easy for everyone to assemble!

YAYYY!!
Loved seeing what’s in your grocery cart, Erika! I need to look for that type of ranch dressing. My husband loves ranch but is always looking for healthier options (we currently get Hidden Valley light).
Hope you have a fantastic rest of your week! 🙂
Make Life Marvelous
I don’t know that it’s much better for us calorie-wise but the ingredient list is better because it’s fresher.
Just added the dressing and salad to my cart! Thank you!
You’ll love it!
I must try those salmon bowls!
Your family will love!
Thanks for hosting and happy weekend Linda
