Today’s my BIRTHDAY!
I’m turning THIRTY-FIVE YEARS OLD! Instead of me writing a post all about myself, I enlisted my kiddos to help. I asked them to tell me thirty-five things you guys might not know about me. And they were so happy to help! 🙂
You might not know this about my mom, but…
1. My mom had baby turtles as pets growing up. {Not for long-I’ve never been good at pets.}
2. My mom is so nice to me at my football games-even when I lose.
3. My mom always loves me.
4. She had a car crash with her brother in high school. {Yes, I’m sure my brother would blame it on me, but it was ALL HIS FAULT! HE RAN INTO ME ON THE WAY TO SCHOOL!}
5. It was my parents’ idea to adopt Britt from China. {Who else’s idea would this be?}
6. She always says, “Big Brother, Big Brother, Big Brother”…when Big Brother comes on.
7. She always eats salad or salmon.
8. My mom’s favorite sport growing up was volleyball and she played volleyball at Zalma High School.
9. She loves reading books.
10. My mom makes the best spaghetti with Parmesan cheese.
11. She had a turquoise car in high school. {It was green, but they think more turquoise in pics.}
12. She got pulled over by a police officer yesterday. {True story…and since it was my birthday, he told me my “gift” was no ticket.}
13. My mom was a volleyball coach for Ebby Lee.
14. My mom makes the best noodles. {three different kids are answering these questions-ha!}
15. My mom’s favorite days are when it’s raining outside and we can snuggle.
16. She loves FALL!
17. My mom’s favorite holiday is Christmas.
18. She loves the color, turquoise.
19. My mom hasn’t taken me to see Ant Man and The Wasp movie yet. {Hahahaha! I mean. WHAT is this?! I think he was trying to mom shame me. #reallife}
20. My mom makes really good cookies.
21. She sings “Jesus Loves Me”, to Britt every single night.
22. She really likes peach cobbler and ice cream.
23. My mom’s middle name is, “Nicole”.
24. My mom used to work at a hotel.
25. My mom likes to watch Big Brother.
26. She hit another car in a parking garage when she was vacationing in Florida with her family.
27. My mom once tried to do a cartwheel and she broke her arm.
28. My mom and I like to go shopping.
29. She likes to go on “holidays” with us. {You guys. He hasn’t watched Peppa Pig in AGES, but this proves that show left an impact on his life. hahaha!}
30. My mom gets me and my brother’s name confused a lot. {Oops!}
31. She lets us sleep in her bed when Dad’s out of town.
32. My mom and me like to snuggle.
33. She’s really good at wiffle ball.
34. She likes watching girly movies with me.
35. My mom loves a cup of coffee and a blanket to be comfy cozy.
