What We’re Eating This Week

This week I hopped onto Shay’s blog and grabbed some of our favorite fall recipes for our meal plan this week…

Monday-Pumpkin Sausage Pasta…I still don’t understand this combo BUT I’m telling you, it’s so good! It’s absolutely delish and my people always ask for seconds!

Tuesday-BBQ Apple Chicken Sandwiches…Tuesday night is GAME NIGHT for Bowen’s team! I had this in the slow cooker so when my people got home, it’s ready.

Wednesday-I ALWAYS check out the weather when making my meal plan for the week. This time of year I’m on the lookout for any cooler days where I can have something hearty and comforting ready for dinner. I don’t want to jinx it BUT it’s supposed to be cooler on Wednesday so I’m making Brunswick Stew for dinner.

Thursday-Sausage Cabbage Skillet…Thursday nights are Britt’s softball game nights so it’s always a bit crazy! We’re all getting home at different times BUT this is an easy one that will be ready for my people whenever they get home. I’ll make it separately…sausage in one pan and cabbage in the other because many of my people will opt out of the sausage. I have potatoes to make as well.

What I’m Reminiscing About

This time of year I’m always reminiscing about our trip to Oktoberfest! This weekend is Oktoberfest in McKinney so it’s been on my mind all week!

Ummmm….the forecast!

Today, we’re getting a teeny, tiny peak at fall weather with some rain + cooler temps. They won’t last long so I’m enjoying them while they’re here!

I snagged this Game Day Sweatshirt because all three of my big kids’ teams are red. It comes in many, many colors and is so well made! One day it’s going to get chilly here in North Texas.

I found THE MOST COMFY NFL sweats EVER! This hoodie + these sweats come in many, many team options and they’re SO comfortable!

Guys, I’m still trying to read this book. Why is it taking me so long?!

The Big Brother finale is on Sunday night and can I just say…I don’t want Vince OR Morgan to win! I’m #TEAMKEANU!

The Unicorn Girl Podcast-THANK YOU to the reader who recommended this podcast! WHOA!! This podcast is from the same group that did the Scamanda podcast. Every episode leaves me thinking, “Now where can this go next”, and somehow I’m equally perplexed every time!!

What I’m Doing This Weekend

AWWWWWW!!!!! Look at my crew years ago at McKinney’s Oktoberfest! This weekend I’ll have less kids in tow {waaaahhhh! because they’ll have their own plans} and I hope we aren’t as hot. ha!
