What’s Up Wednesday! I’m gonna link up with Sheaffer and Shay to answer a little about what’s going on around here.
What We’re Eating This Week
Monday-Nixon’s baseball team is playing in our local Dallas World Series Baseball Tournament and he played late Monday afternoon so the team went out to dinner together afterwards.
Tuesday-Due to the baseball tournament our schedule is all up in the air because winning/losing really changes the times. All that to say, as I’m typing this it’s early Tuesday morning and I have nothing planned. I’m hoping we win our first game and are playing tonight at 6:00 so dinner will be pure chaos again. 🙂
Wednesday-Last day of the baseball tournament and who knows??!
Thursday-A friend just told me she does shrimp/sausage boils in foil on the grill. Which sounds so good and easy! But I’m terrible with the grill so I’m gonna attempt to do this in the slow cooker. I have red potatoes and corn to throw in with the shrimp and sausage.
Friday-Honestly by Friday, there’s no telling what we’ll be eating for dinner.
A baseball tournament week with DAYS of games makes me fly by the seat of my pants when it comes to dinner, which isn’t the norm for me, but I’m rolling with it.
What I’m Reminiscing About
Apparently, when I look back-two years ago I was doing THE EXACT SAME THING I’m doing this week! Watching lots of baseball!
What I’m Loving
You guys! I just can’t quit them! Summer in Texas is HOT! {I’m looking at you EXTREME HEAT BASEBALL TEMPS!} And these tennis skirts/skorts are THE perfect solution to looking a little more elevated than straight up athletic shorts but they’re as comfortable and as cool as we can get! Whoever decided to bring these back a few years ago, well I’d like to thank them. 🙂

What I’m Working On
LAUNDRY!! Bowen went to church camp over the weekend and when I opened his duffle bag-the ENTIRE pile of dirty laundry was wet. UGH!!!
What I’m Excited About
I’m SO looking forward to our 4th of July this year! It’s a dead week of baseball so we’re officially “off” for a week and I’m excited!
What I’m Watching/Reading
I’m mid this book and can’t quit! Have you ready Hello Beautiful?
We watched as much of the College World Series as we possibly could! By the end of the tourney, all six of us were LSU Tiger fans! SO happy they pulled out the win! {It wasn’t a big tough win during game 3, but you know what I mean.}
What I’m Listening To
One of my friends just told me I have to start listening to the Scamanda podcast! I began earlier today and am HOOKED!!
What I’m Wearing
ALL the red + white + blue! Like this dress!
What I’m Doing This Weekend
On Saturday we set off for a FUN adventure! I can’t even give you a hint or you’ll know where we’re headed! 😉
What I’m Looking Forward to Next Month
This crew of mine and I have two trips planned in July! We’re gonna do it big before football season and back to school are here before we know it!
