Paris 2025 Day 3

I’m popping in today for another Paris recap. I know I’m taking my sweet time with these but it’s all because THERE ARE SO MANY PICTURES. For REAL! I guess that’s any vacation with a teen girl. 😉

If you’ve missed any recaps, you can see Day One and Day Two.

On day three, we grabbed a quick breakfast at our hotel and then took a cab to Montmartre. If you’ve never visited Paris, this is a hill and neighborhood known for it’s adorable charm, the Sacre-Coeur basilica at the top of the hill, and a very rich history of the arts. {Picasso, Monet, and Van Gogh all were known to get their creative juices flowing at some point in this area.}

What a stunning sight this was!

Can you say TOURIST SUCKERS?! hahaha! We overpaid profusely for a lock so we could add our initials and lock it right there on the fence. Friendly tip…if you walk to a little shop in Montmartre they sell these locks for about $2.00.

Three girls who were VERY happy with their little lock purchase.

This area was by far my favorite to walk around and stroll. It was also the most crowded area we experienced while we were in Paris. Clearly, it was everyone’s fave.

Local artisans set up a little market right there in this square. Some of their work was amazing!

La Maison Rose is a very famous restaurant. It’s the pink/green building behind her. Can you see how TINY that little restaurant is?!

The hilly views might have been one of my favorite things.

I tried to take some pictures like Ebby Lee and well, I will NEVER be able to publish those. They’re hilarious! You can imagine!

We popped into Le Consulat for a quick bite. Another day, another delicious sandwich!

Then it was time to do a little more strolling.

We walked by this creperie and couldn’t stop laughing. Ebby Lee made the comment that’s the kind of souvenir she’d prefer to take back to Texas.

hahahahaha! Yes, this is what she was referring to!

We’d found an article about Montmartre and the most Instagrammable places. This building was one because it was supposed to look like it was sinking. We clearly, never got the right angle.

It was the BEST kind of morning spent in Paris! I’m going to have to finish our day in another post because our afternoon involved a LOT of photos! It was a special tour I can’t wait to share!
