Hey Hey! Happy Friday, Friends!

It’s been a WEEK here, but a really/quick/super short week! I’m popping in today to share a few of my FAVORITES from the week. As always, Andrea and I would love for to you join us by adding your blog to the link-up!

First FAVORITE and I can’t even believe I’m sharing this. Who even am I? A neighbor told me about PupBox when we got Champ so I decided to order for the year. Each month we get a little box delivered with some goodies. This month’s box had…a toy rope, a small bag of treats, a turkey jerky, bone broth, a portable water bowl, and a big moon with stars toy we’d already given him that he was playing with. The box also comes with information about what your puppy should be doing this month and has some tips as well. Think back to the What to Expect When You’re Expecting book for post-delivery and for pups.

Please note the right top of my phone…SOS mode. I’ve had major phone issues all week! BUT, I listened to this podcast on friendship and it was SO GOOD! It’s the Risen Motherhood Podcast. I found friendships to be SO easy when I was young and married, when I had babies/toddlers, and even when my kids were in elementary school. But friendships are harder now, there’s not as much time for me to spend with friends, I spend a lot more time with parents on my kids’ sports teams, and am often just exhausted at night when it would be the best time to actually get together with other friends. This podcast comes at the topic of friendships straight with Biblical truth and it reminded me how much effort I need to be putting forth even when I’m tired and exhausted by the end of the day. You should listen!

And I was also reminded it doesn’t have to be a big meet up every time. It can often be a sweet delivery or a really nice text. So I listened to that this week {and I mentioned Nix got hurt skiing. We had a rough week deciding exactly what treatment would look like but it’s all settled now.}. Anyway, we had two friends send things to our house to love on him and us. It was very much appreciated and good reminders to be loving on my people even during this busy season.

I’ve already mentioned this week that both boys but especially Bowen Slaughter prefers a hearty snack after school. I snagged these Caulipower Dill Flavored Chicken Bites in my Walmart delivery this week and friends, they are GOOD!! Gluten free, no antibiotics, all natural…and they taste DELISH! A couple nights ago our evening got super chaotic so instead of what I’d planned for dinner we had random leftovers. I threw some of these onto…

Onto this dill pickle chopped salad kit and well, I was living my best dill life! I got the salad from Walmart delivery as well! If you have some dill lovers in your house, try both separately or together! DELISH!

Here’s a little Friday truth for you….I took the pic so close because I’d already changed my pants into comfy shorts and they were stripes that DID NOT in any way match. BUT, I wanted to share this comfy sweatshirt! Red/white combo with a little extra detailing on the sleeve. CUTE, cute and I ordered my normal size-small.

Okay, friends. A bit short and sweet today but I’m hopping off to get to work. I’ve got some catching up to do from last week! Happy Friday!
