Keurig 2.0 Review

Happy Happy Wednesday!

I’m working on this post Tuesday afternoon and this is exactly me at the moment…
WHY do I do this??  I even did it in my sleep because I remember being “awake” enough to think-, “Yep, it still hurts”.  Please tell me you do this too.  Do you?  Am I strange?

Moving on…I just saw that meme and laughed out loud because it’s so me.

A couple weeks ago our coffee maker {we had this one but the older version}began making an ounce of coffee instead of it’s regular cup.  I shared this with you and when I replaced it with a new coffee marker I got several requests for reviews on this Keurig 2.0.  You guys know I prefer a little coffee with my cream.  🙂  With that said, I’m not sure I’m the most qualified to give a coffee maker review, but I’m gonna share my thoughts.  Maybe some of you are like me and are looking for a new coffee maker to go with your cream.

If I’m being honest here, a while back when our Shark Ninja started acting up I purchased this Keurig thinking the Ninja would die at any minute and I wanted to be ready.  But…the Ninja came back to life and lived for a good year later.

One of the worst qualities I possess is my inability to return items I purchase online.  I’m the WORST about missing my “return window”.  Which is EXACTLY what happened.  So I put this Keurig 2.0 in a closet knowing that eventually we’d need it.  That’s exactly what happened.

Pros:
*Super easy set up.
*Also super easy to use.
*A big water basin so it doesn’t have to be refilled daily.
*Makes a cup of coffee very quickly.
{Really these things are all I’m looking for in a coffee maker.} #notfancy

Cons:
*If you unplug it, this machine takes a while to preheat.  I think ours might be the exception in this area, but Tab was constantly unplugging this machine at night.  The next morning I would be thinking awful things in my head about my sweet husband as I waited IMPATIENTLY for the coffee maker to preheat at 5:10 in the morning.  He’s learned we don’t unplug it.
*This will make 8, 10, or 12 ounce cups.  Now, I prefer an oversize mug but I always choose the 12 ounces and there’s always a lot of space in my cup.  I’m not sure if it makes tiny cups or if I’m used to drinking Big Gulps-coffee edition?

Because this was an-AH!!!  OUR COFFEEMAKER STOPPED WORKING MOMENT…we’re using K-cups for now.  I’ll eventually buy one of those reuseable pods to add our own coffee to.

Overall, I’m SUPER happy with this purchase.

Now, I’m sure it does a LOT more than what I mentioned because I’ve really only used it in the most simple way, but if you have this coffee maker and know of other functions…please comment!

Or…if you have a different coffee maker, share with us what brand you have!

Thanks for reading today, friends!
