What I’m Priming Lately-February Edition

The last time I shared an Amazon Prime post I was busy shopping for Christmas presents.  It’s been a few weeks and I’ve got a random assortment of things my BFF, Amazon Prime, has dropped off at my house.

Dot File Folder Set

When I’m hard at work planning vacations for clients, want to know something that makes me happy?  Cute file folders!  🙂  Thanks to Marie Kondo we’re all focused on items that bring us joy and let me tell you…a cute file folder does just that for me!  My favorite place to order them is Amazon.

Remember Britt’s Christmas roller coaster present?  {By the way, I had a sweet grandma e-mail me about where I purchased mine.  I got Britt’s at Kohl’s with a promo at a great price.  If you’re in the market, I’d keep your eye out at Kohl’s AND be looking for their coupon codes!}  We had the roller coaster set up in our house for a MONTH and I didn’t realize it was scratching the floor so I grabbed this set to *hopefully* make the wood floors look fabulous.

On a sidenote-one time in college I was babysitting a girl who was probably fifth grade and she was removing her fingernail polish, set the remover down on the coffee table, and of course-it spilled.  When her parents got home, her mom showed me the wood marker and it worked like a charm!

You guys keep telling me to read this book.  It’s on my nightstand just WAITING for me to crack it open.  I hope it changes our potty training life.  🙂

I’ve shared before I grabbed this book and the bible study workbook as well earlier this year.  I bought this book for a friend.  Whether you’re in the market for a study or not, this book is a good one!

We’re always on the hunt for boys’ birthday gift ideas.  I grabbed this set of baseball cards for a birthday party this weekend.

And I don’t know about your kiddos, but mine LOVE these books!  This is getting paired with the cards to make the birthday present complete.  🙂

Ebby Lee is a big fan of a calendar.  I forgot to grab one for her for Christmas so she asked me in January if she could do some extra chores for a little extra cash.  She chose this pig calendar and now has everything important…dance class, volleyball, Valentine’s Day…you know the big stuff written down.

Murder Mystery Dinner is going down soon!!  The theme this year is a little “darker” than last year and these black candles were a must!

By the way, this is a reason I LOVE Amazon Prime.  I despise going into a store for just one item and these candles are the perfect example.  I would have had to go into Hobby Lobby just for these candles.  But with Amazon Prime…they arrived at my door in two days.  AHHHH!  That is LOVE!

Last month, I mentioned my curling iron was really drying my hair out!  It leaves my hair with great curls BUT at moments I think I can smell my hair frying.  A reader commented for me to try this oil.  I’ve been using it and am LOVING IT!  It makes my hair so much softer and smells amazing!  WIN-WIN!

At Tab’s family Christmas, my sister-in-law and I were talking about those Department 56 Christmas pieces.  She has an amazing collection.  As we were talking she realized this garage was on major sale.  She told me to order immediately and I listened!  We both snagged it for under $35 right before Christmas.

You know I’m in major declutter mode over here.  I feel like it’s been a GREAT day if I have bags of trash by the back door.  Tab on the other hand is like, “WHERE AM I SUPPOSED TO PUT ALL THIS?”.   Just Sunday, I did a MAJOR clean out of the pantry and ordered a few things to help make it a little more organized.

This is for the pantry too.  🙂

What have YOU been priming?!

Happy Tuesday!
XO

That oil is fantastic. My salon uses all Davines products and I am a huge fan! The Oi Milk is awesome in the warmer months to help protect your hair from the sun/pool, etc. The sea salt primer is also good for when you're going for beachy waves or just some extra texture. And of course I love the shampoo and conditioner! 🙂 My son uses their mousse and pastes, too!

To this day, my mom still reminds me of the time that I spilled a bottle of pink fingernail polish in the middle of my bedroom onto her new carpet! haha. NOTHING got that out so she ended up having that stained part cut out and replaced with a new section. It was not seamless at all and looked awful. She was soooooo mad! Sorry, mom! I get it now!
