HAPPY Friday, Friends!
In typical Friday fashion, I’m here with my girl, Andrea, sharing some of my FAVORITES from the week! We love when you join us! Be sure to grab our graphic, link back please, and then add your blog to the bottom of this post. THANK YOU!
We’re living it UP these summer days! Remember that whole switcheroo that happened with Tab and I tackling the kids? We kind of did it again….

If your kid plays baseball, then you’ve gotta get their team to Rocker B Ranch. It’s this amazing baseball complex near Possum Kingdom Lake with fields, swimming pool, water slide, good concessions, fishing ponds, cabins, and more. The weekend we left for Italy Bowen’s team got to experience it for the second time. Bowen, Britt and I headed out on Thursday evening for some fun with the baseball family. {We stayed in a cabin at The Retreat and I thought it was great. I thought it would just be the three of us for the weekend because of schedules so a two bedroom/one bath cabin with kitchen, washer/dryer, and living room was perfect! Tab and Nixon were able to join for a night and it worked then too. Anyway, if you head to Rocker B and the cabins on location are full. This was a great alternative.}

Some of my FAVORITE baseball mamas and I enjoyed the cool AC!

Several families went in together and stayed in a house in this super cute neighborhood right on the lake. The boys were LIVING it up!

Britt did too! ha! This was us at the pool at our cabin at 8:30 one morning.

This was a BIG FAVORITE from the week….Tab and I visiting Tuscany! I shared Part 1 and Part 2 earlier. Part 3 is coming next week! I should give a HUGE shout out to my parents who held down the fort and put what felt like thousands of miles on cars shuttling our kids around.

Last week was Vacation Bible School at our church {always a FAVORITE!} and while we were gone and I was scrolling the pics to find Britty!

Ebby Lee volunteered all week at VBS, shuttled Britt and a friend to/from everyday, AND she managed to make it up on stage.

Britt had a fun little play date after VBS. They’re always a FAVORITE!

AND swimming makes it extra fun!

Tab and I got home on Saturday and headed straight to the baseball fields where Bowen was playing in day two of a five day tournament. Ebby Lee left the next day to head to Pine Cove camp for the week. It’s a Slaughter first! Our kids have never been but she wanted to give it a go this year with friends.

They were SO excited about the week!

This is what neighborhood dreams are made of, right? A knock at the door and then ten minutes later you’re all swimming in the pool! Britt’s FAVORITE!

Champ’s demeanor when they were swimming was my FAVORITE to watch. I think he thought they were going to get him wet or make him swim and he avoided them like the plague!

Who was so excited to wake up with pics of my girl in the app? ME!!! Looks like western night was a HIT!

And those views have gotta be a FAVORITE!

Today, I’m off to watch Nixon play baseball on this nice {HOT-ha!} afternoon and can’t wait to pick up our girl TOMORROW from camp! Hope you have the best weekend!
XO
What a busy week for you all! Hoping you can take some time to relax!

It’s too bad we never took our little tee-ball team out to Rocker B! That’d have been FUN!
It has been a BIG week for the Slaughter six!
A FUN week! YES!
I’ve been following you for years….random that my niece is in that group photo with Ebby Lee! She attends Pine Cove every year. Small world!
Oh my goodness! SMALL WORLD!! Which one is your niece??
Aww I worked at Pine Cove every summer in college – even met my now husband there and two kids later, we still just think it’s the sweetest ministry!! I hope Ebby Lee has had the best week!! ☺️🥰 I know you will be so excited to see her tomorrow!!
She had a BLAST!! What a cool story-Ebby Lee kept telling me they call that “purple” when boys are talking to girls. ha!
