Friday Favorites-2.3.23

WHOA! Everybody look at that date…2.3.23! That’s pretty cool. I’m typing this on Thursday afternoon and really have no clue what today {tomorrow, as I’m typing} will hold. Will there be school or not? I have absolutely no idea. We’ve had some sweet times, have played the most hilarious animal charades {I had no clue one of my child’s talents is impersonating animals REALLY well}, have gotten super creative with a few meals, and hopefully my kids will look back on the snow days of 2023 with big smiles on their faces.

I’m joining my girl, Andrea, to bring you a list of my Friday FAVORITES! Here’s my list from the week…

First up, Mix and Match Travel Agency got to send this sweet family {you might recognize them from The Bachelor or as Shay’s brother and sister-in-law} to Walt Disney World last week. I got to work with Catherine on some of her Disney details and she’s so sweet. It was an absolute pleasure to help them with making some magical memories. Right now we’re able to get some great pricing for early summer Disney trips, book some amazing locations during the fall, and get a holiday trip on the books. Last Friday was Britt’s 100th Day of Kindergarten and my goodness-she aged a ton overnight. ;). She happened to be my FAVORITE 100-year-old!

And just like that she turned back into a seven-year-old at 3:00 p.m. We had a FAVORITE kind of date night…Tab, Britt, and me. The two big kids were at a church event and Bowen was hanging with friends. Tab made dinner reservations and took two of his girls out for a special dinner.

Britty and I popped into one of our FAVORITE little studios last weekend to take some cute Valentine’s Day pictures. If you’re local and would like to pop in for some quick V-Day themed pics, this is where you can go to sign up.

Thankfully this past week I had some of my FAVORITE snacks stocked in the pantry. What is it about Snow Days just making me HUNGRY? These Spicy Queso PopCorners have the best flavor and I like to mix either some greek yogurt with salsa or even cottage cheese with salsa. It’s the best little tasty snack that’s still a good choice. Know what I mean?

This isn’t such a healthy choice…hahaha! But pistachios are a FAVORITE snack. I love the combo of some honey roasted, lightly salted, and salt and vinegar. YUMMY!!

The 2020 Manda Strong Gala was one of my FAVORITE nights! And great news…local friends, February 24th, 2023, from 7:00-11:00 the Manda Strong Foundation is hosting another gala. If you’ve never heard of this foundation, it’s a nonprofit organization that was started in honor of one of my girlfriend’s, Manda Maxwell. The foundation comes alongside young moms in North Texas who are battling cancer. They provide support, encourage the moms, and offer them a variety of ways to help make some amazing memories with their families. Those can range from a trip to a new puppy to a backyard makeover…just whatever they can do to help each family.
