Baltimore Trip-2024

Happy October 1st, Friends! One of my favorite things to do in the fall is sit outside while the kids play on our street after school. I need the weather to cool off a bit in order for it to happen but in honor of the cooler temps coming soon {I HOPE!} I chatted with neighbors and worked while Britt rode her bike/scooter up and down the street yesterday. Fall weather is coming!

This weekend Bowen, one of his friends, Jack, and I made the trip to Baltimore with Tab for the Sunday night Ravens versus Bills game. It was a REALLY quick trip because the boys had a football game at noon on Saturday we didn’t want them to miss. We left late and got into Baltimore late on Saturday night.

Sunday morning I let these two sleep in a bit before I took them downstairs for a buffet breakfast. I’m not sure there’s much Bowen loves more in life than a buffet breakfast. 😉

Then we were off on foot and by Uber to see a bit of Baltimore. The weather looked a bit dreary but felt great.

This is what the boys REALLY wanted to do. ha!

This part of Baltimore was so cute and charming.

I forced them to take a picture with me even though they WEREN’T feeling it!

I found this shirt the week before the game and decided there was not a shirt out there better for me to wear to the football game. Right?

It was a bit chillier than we were expecting so on our walk to our seats we snagged them some hoodies. It ended up misting/sprinkling a bit as well and the sweatshirts came in handy.

Some of my favorite fellow wife officials were in attendance this weekend. No one else understands this crazy life quite like these ladies do.

My favorite official! And I got lots of IG messages about YOU seeing my favorite official on tv as well.

Baltimore gave us some amazing seats!

The Ravens have a really cool entrance…tried to capture it for you. “Tried” is the key word here. 🙂

The boys and I having a great time! We dined on Snack Shack burgers and fries and were up WAY past our bedtime.

The half-time performance was by Fitz and the Tantrums. If you’re like me and have no clue who that is, they sing the popular, “Hand Clap” song. They happened to perform REALLY close to our seats.

And I got a really good view of number #110 in the black/white.

We got back to our room, got ready for bed and probably got to sleep around 1:00 a.m.! But it was well worth it! The next morning we flew back to Dallas…back to life…

Thanks for following along with my getaway! Hope you guys have a great first day of October!

XO
