How is she turning 6 today? I want to stay in bed in the fetal position all day just thinking about how fast time flies by. Rest assured, I’m up making the birthday girl a fabulous breakfast before school. You know my heart though. 🙂
This shy, reserved little girl is totally coming into her own. I remember when she was in the two-year-old class at preschool her teachers would say that some days she didn’t talk at all!! She was never like that at home. Ever. But I love that this girl is maturing and has a voice! Sometimes her brothers would prefer for her to keep that voice to herself. Ha!
She is a girls-girl for sure! Give her some accessories, a fancy dress, and nail polish and she’ll be happy for days! These girls have such a fun relationship. I love seeing how excited they are to see each other after being apart only a day! Sometimes six sounds so old, but then she’ll run in and tell me, “Kensington has a runny nose because she’s allergic to the POLLEM”. And I’m reminded that six is still so little. 🙂
She has this guy wrapped around her little finger. Today he’s going to be the Watch Dog at her school. She is beside herself!! Just two nights ago, she told Tab that her tummy hurt. He let her sleep in our room and I kind of gave him a look when I saw it happening. He said, “She said her tummy hurts, but maybe she played me”. hahahaha! #wrapped
She can also hang with the boys. God definitely knew what he was doing when he made her the oldest, that’s for sure. She likes to boss her younger brothers around anytime they’ll let her. But she absolutely adores them.
She has the sweetest little caring heart. She’s artistic and loves doing any kind of craft. As sad as I am that she’s growing up, this age is so fun. She “gets” jokes and is super funny! And…the girl has some killer dance moves.
I love this girl to the moon and back. I’m so glad God made her mine!
We’re celebrating today ALL DAY LONG! We have a fun birthday party planned tonight and the party continues all weekend with family in town and Nixon’s birthday in just three days!
