This weekend Nixon brought home the class “pet” to take him on a little adventure.  It was Easter weekend, so we had a great weekend.  However, we couldn’t remember to take that bear ANYWHERE!!! So, on Monday we needed a couple things for his baseball game this week and we finally remembered to take “Rudy” to the store with us.

The big adventure we took him on was the escalator.  ðŸ™‚  hahahaha!  #wetried  Nixon’s FAVORITE moment was sharing this little adventure with his class on Tuesday.

Yesterday with family in tow I did a little swimsuit shopping.  I blogged about some of my FAVORITE suits online on Wednesday.  I tried on a TON of suits and this was my top pick!  Hands down.  My mom and grandma 100% agreed.  The sizes are crazy limited, but I should tell you that I’ve been disappointed in Jessica Simpson since her and Nick split.  I was BIG fan of the show, Newlyweds.  ðŸ™‚  Anyone else?  I must tell you with this suit she is back in my good graces!!!  I’ll be checking out her swimwear line every year now!!

My family came to town this weekend for the big kiddos’ birthdays and brought these cookies.  My cousin, Whitney, makes the cutest and most delicious cookies ever!!  Seriously!  They’re our FAVORITE!  If you’re in Southeast Missouri, you NEED her to make cookies for your next event.  Even if it’s just for your post-dinner dessert.  ðŸ™‚  Ebby Lee’s party was a “Fancy Nancy” theme and Whitney hooked us up!

A little birthday party tease 🙂  I’ll share the rest from the party next week, but don’t these girlies look so FANCY??  Ebby Lee had a BLAST!!  It was definitely a FAVORITE moment from the week!

I need your help!!!
I was letting my hair grow to achieve the look above and below, but it’s just not happening.  I’ve hit a brick wall and I need it cut ASAP!  Do you guys know what I’m talking about??  When you think, you need it cut within the next 48 hours?  haha!  I’m to that point!

So…what are your thoughts on these….

Option #1

Option #2-This one is adorable, but makes me nervous because the subject says, “For Thin Hair”.  My hair is the farthest from thin….so this probably isn’t the option for me.  But thin hair girls….don’t you love this?

Option #3

Things to remember…my face is round and my hair is thick!  Which is your FAVORITE?

Thanks for any help or recommendations you give me!  Have a GREAT weekend, ladies!!  XOXO

#3 is the exact picture my hairstylist and I use when I get haircuts and I always get compliments. Go for it!

I love option #2! I love short hair! I am at the stage of growing mine out and when I get bored with it I cut it super short and then grow it back out again! Short hair is so much easier!! I like option #1 also because you could still put it up into a pony tail. Good luck!

LOVE option #1 for your hair! I just hit that point yesterday and sent my hairdresser an emergency "CAN YOU HELP ME, I AM GOING CRAZY" text! I am now a little shorter, and a little blonder. Number 1 is perfect!

That swimsuit is so cute! I'm a hairstylist and I think Option #2 is soooo pretty and you can pull it off! Just ask for more/shorter layers. Good luck!

You'll look adorable in any of the above cuts – but I love #1… I've taken that one to my own hair dresser! Love a long bob! Good luck!

I laughed and laughed about the fact that Jessica is now back in your good graces!!! I'm with you. I was totally Team Nick. But that swimsuit top did her right, and I'm with you, she's creeping back in. 🙂

I think #1 is my top choice, but like others have said, I think you could rock any of them. Is your cousin near Jackson, MO at all? If so, I’d be interested in getting her contact info!

Option #2 is my favorite, its what i use for my hair stylist. My hair is thick so it works!! I am actually trying to grow my hair out as well and I'm getting annoyed with it but I'm sticking to growing it out. Haha

Newlyweds was my favorite show!! Sometimes I'll watch an episode or two on YouTube! Ha! they were so cute together!

I'm a fellow thick blonde hair girl so Ive had your issue 🙂 my hair wasn't growing because of flat ironing/blow drying then i decided to get the keratin treatment and my hair is so much healthier and grows sooo fast! I have so many of those pictures you posted pinned on my "hair" board on Pinterest too haha! If you're going to cut it I love Reese witherspoons cut!

I'm often hesitant to admit this, but I own all the Newlyweds DVDs!! I felt like a piece of me was getting divorced with them… So hard!!! And I get that attached to the Bachelor/Bachelorette couples as well.. Glad I'm not alone (at least for the Newlyweds!!) Option 1 would be adorable!!!! I love cutting my hair like option 2, but I have thin hair… You could always try it, though!! Ebby Lee is the most precious SIX year old ever!!!

I have a round face & thick hair, too, and I cut my hair into option #2 about 4 years ago & haven't looked back since. It is literally the first haircut in my life that I have loved, and not immediately thought, "if only this were different…" I can't wait to see what you choose!

Oh I love all the hair options but 1 is my fav. I've asked for that cut before. I have a round face but my hair is very fine so it appears thinner than it is. I'm getting my hair done next week and I may try option 2 for myself!

Ok, I lovvvve the suit. Looking it up in a minute. Love the hair options- I cut a ton of my hair off in the fall to the length of #2 and still love it. It looks great wavy, straight, etc. The Jessica Simpson thing is SPOT ON! My husband and I actually used to watch Newlyweds together! "I Do….Cherish YOu…"…now I've got the song stuck in my head!!! 🙂
