What’s Up Wednesday! I’m gonna link up with Sheaffer and Shay to answer a little about what’s going on around here. Hope you guys are doing great mid-week!

What We’re Eating This Week

You guys! I’m still living the high life over here at my in-laws! We’ve had dinner each and every night and even some night dessert! We’ve had some REALLY great meals lately…

Monday-Marla made stuffed peppers with roasted veggies for dinner. It was a rainy day so all sports were cancelled {and this mama was secretly celebrating because how often are we all home on a Monday night? NEVER!}.

Tuesday-I made a big batch of chili and we all ate way too late because #middleschoolsports.

Wednesday-I’m putting in all the goodies for BBQ Apple Chicken Sandwiches. We’ll eat them open faced on garlic bread with green beans and sweet potato fries on the side.

Thursday-We might grab dinner out or we’ll clean out the refrigerator with a leftovers night.

Friday-The plan is for us to head to my nephew’s football game in East Texas BUT if it’s raining we’ll stay here and order in.

What I’m Reminiscing About

A year ago Tab and I were headed to Charleston for a little work trip he had with some other colleagues. This year that same trip happened to be last week in Phoenix, but I opted out. However, time away just the two of us is always something special.

What I’m Loving

FANTASY FOOTBALL!! I shared a little about Bowen and I’s love for this new little fall hobby in yesterday’s post.

What We’ve Been Up To

A LOT of views like this. 🙂

This past week Nixon’s team got to play in our high school stadium which made it a little extra special.

Another mom sent me this pictures she took from the game. 🙂

And then Friday night…Tab and I took Ebby Lee and friends and Nixon and friends to a local Haunted Trail {it was in the Colony for local peeps}. The eighth grade girls seemed to really like it and were scared, but I’d say the boys needed something a little spookier. Tab and I both noted that and will change it up next year. You can see the girls above are looking back at that guy dressed up. ha!

What I’m Working On

Paint colors, wallpaper, furniture and the list goes on and on. I’m a terrible decision maker so this decisions are weighing heavily on me!

What I’m Excited About

HALLOWEEN!!!! Trick-or-treating, costumes, and even the candy will be FUN!

What I’m Watching/Reading

I’ve been watching LOTS OF BRAVO!! So much so that Shay and I Broke Down Bravo in our latest Bestie Breakdown episode. We got lots of great feedback yesterday and are excited you guys enjoyed!

And thanks to Shay, I ordered my new Advent study. Those Lifeway studies are always some of my FAVORITE things to dive into each Christmas season. As well as Max Lucado’s In the Manger-such a great read!

What I’m Listening To

PODCASTS!! Right this second, I’m loving the Pardon The Mess Podcast. Each week she releases a new, “Praying the Psalms Over Our Kids”, episode. Those are my FAVORITES!

What I’m Wearing

The crew at our house happened to tape up everything to begin painting which is GREAT! But that means we can’t change our clothes stash out so if you’ve seen me, I’ve been wearing the exact same thing each week {and so have the kids}. We’re wearing the same clothes on repeat.

What I’m Doing This Weekend

HALLOWEEN FUN!

We have plans for a small town football on Friday {if the rain holds off}, lots of sports games on Saturday, a Fall Festival, and a little neighborhood Halloween party. Should be a great weekend!

What I’m Looking Forward to Next Month

So many things…our house being complete, us moving back in fully, Thanksgiving, football games, Britt and Bowen’s birthdays and so much more!
