If you guys remember earlier this year I shared that I just couldn’t get behind Tab’s Texas Rangers because they never won. It’s tough cheering for a losing team over and over. That’s not fun! I’d had enough and decided I was gonna change that-I chose the Phillies as my 2023 team {because after watching that World Baseball Classic and SO MANY of the US team being Phillies players, I was certain THEY were gonna win the World Series} and well….guys, here I am eating my words.
The Texas Rangers WON the WORLD SERIES last night!
I’ve never watched more Major League baseball than I have this post season. I’ve stayed up WAY too late WAY too many nights just to watch games in their entirety. We’ve had more “ballpark themed” dinners than ever before to make these nights just a little more fun…nachos, chili, chili dogs, hot dogs…I was running OUT of ideas! Needless to say, if you see my husband today I’m positively certain he’ll have the biggest smile on his face because his Rangers WON!
I’ve now realized I’m not an MLB kind of girl…
UNTIL the POST SEASON! I’ll tune in again next year around the beginning of October and maybe, just maybe, I’ll get to see Tab’s Texas Rangers again. 😉

I was a bit concerned my family would never get to watch a holiday movie if it didn’t end soon. AND I’m exhausted!
Yay for your Rangers. How exciting! Try being a Detroit Lions fan, my entire life they have been the worst and I’m old! LOL. This year feels so different sitting in the #1 spot in the conference. It feels good to root and cheer for a winning team and we are very excited. Loving our Coach Dan Campbell. Go Lions. 🦁
Toni, Oh my goodness-you’ll appreciate this! When we went to the GB/Detroit game, I saw this cute couple in our hotel a couple times. Then we saw them at that after party with the Prime crew and the wife came over and was SO sweet! She asked where I’d gotten my shirt and told me she’d graduated in 1983 and had her class reunion coming up. She was precious! And turns out…it was Jared Goff’s MOM!! We both caught the elevator at like CRAZY EARLY on Friday morning down to the lobby and they were so sweet.
Awwww I LOVE that!! I am a huge Matthew Stafford fan and listen to his wife’s podcast but Jared is having such a great season too. My heart is beginning to let him in a little. LOL. 🤣

I am not a MLB girl either…until the POST SEASON! Those are always the most fun to watch anyway! Congrats to the RANGERS, well deserved!

OMG I thought of you and Tab last night when they won and thought.. wow Tab and Erika and their kids must be so excited!! haha. I think baseball is sooo boring.. I just can’t get into it. Football is my jam.
Amy, I watch my boys play baseball almost all year and LOVE watching them. BUT MLB is different for me! I say next year we choose a team that makes the post season. That made this WAY more fun for me this year!
