If you guys remember earlier this year I shared that I just couldn’t get behind Tab’s Texas Rangers because they never won. It’s tough cheering for a losing team over and over. That’s not fun! I’d had enough and decided I was gonna change that-I chose the Phillies as my 2023 team {because after watching that World Baseball Classic and SO MANY of the US team being Phillies players, I was certain THEY were gonna win the World Series} and well….guys, here I am eating my words.
The Texas Rangers WON the WORLD SERIES last night!
I’ve never watched more Major League baseball than I have this post season. I’ve stayed up WAY too late WAY too many nights just to watch games in their entirety. We’ve had more “ballpark themed” dinners than ever before to make these nights just a little more fun…nachos, chili, chili dogs, hot dogs…I was running OUT of ideas! Needless to say, if you see my husband today I’m positively certain he’ll have the biggest smile on his face because his Rangers WON!
I’ve now realized I’m not an MLB kind of girl…
UNTIL the POST SEASON! I’ll tune in again next year around the beginning of October and maybe, just maybe, I’ll get to see Tab’s Texas Rangers again. 😉
