The Bestie Breakdown & The Broncos

Happy Third Longest Day of 2022! Hahaha!

My crew and I felt as though Sunday lasted 72 hours. We got up and ate breakfast, but before we left for Bowen’s baseball game we made a second breakfast, and then as soon as the game was over the kids were asking for lunch. We all woke up at our “normal” times so we felt like we had SO MUCH TIME awake. I’m not sure how one hour can make your day feel 48 hours longer, but it totally did. And then yesterday we declared it the second longest day of 2022. I’m going with just a good guess that today will be similar. 🙂

Shay and I have a new episode of The Bestie Breakdown out today! This might be one of my favorite episodes to date. It’s a full blown chit-chat session where Shay and I are covering some topics you guys have asked us about and then we’re also discussing some real-life happenings. We touch on pop culture, discuss some new upcoming Christmas movies, and chat about Christmas decor along with a variety of other topics. You can find all of the Bestie episodes right here.

Also, let’s have a little football chat….

  1. Aren’t we ALL still recovering from that overtime LSU/Alabama game on Saturday night? WHAT A GAME! Did you see the clip where Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit are post-game talking about what an amazing game that was to watch? It was a cool little clip to see-especially considering how many games they’ve experienced! I do feel like everyone watching could feel the excitement of that game. We sure could!
  2. Who were you cheering for during the Tennessee/Georgia game? While I’m a HUGE Stetson Bennett fan {he seems like the kind of kid all moms want their sons looking up to}, I love when new teams hit the top four rankings. I had high hopes for Tennessee, but it just didn’t work out.
  3. Speaking of top four rankings, did you see those HORNED FROGS in the #4 spot?! Our Big 12 loving family is already crossing our fingers they make it to the playoffs. Two of my kids randomly asked yesterday if we can go watch if they make it to the playoffs. #ivoteyes
  4. Several of you guys spotted him, but did you happen to see #110 on Sunday Night Football? Our favorite official was there! Tab had the Kansas City/Titans game which I couldn’t stay up for because I’d already been up 70 hours that day. But the game went into over time and ended with a little Mahomes’ magic.

5. This Broncos’ gear makes me want to head to out on the road this weekend to watch the Denver Broncos play some football. Cuffed Knit Pom Beanie | Broncos Clear Crossbody | Leather Moto Jacket | Bronco Sweatshirt | Blue Sweater | Retro Orange Sweater | SPANX Moto Leggings | Script Hat | AGOLDE Jeans | Nike Air Max | Broncos stacking bracelet | Helmet Charm Necklace

This week is the first where we have a little down time. We don’t have any games this week-just some practices and my goodness-my heart needed a little break! Hope you guys are getting a little extra breath this week too! Have the best Tuesday!

XO

What a weekend for football, right???? Being a TN girl, the Vols performance was disappointing but for LSU to knock AL out was OUTSTANDING. I stayed up for that late victory 🙂
I only made it to halftime at the Chiefs/Titans game. . .hope he enjoyed officiating. Too bad we couldn’t pull that one out but we’ll always cheer for Mahomes if we can’t push the Titan’s through.
I know what you mean about the time change — I’m a morning person, though, so I’ve loved the extra time 🙂
Glad you were able to get something out this week — missed you ladies last week. I’ll listen on my lunch break today!
