Priming Lately

Hey Hey Hey! Happy Tuesday!

Did you stay up late to watch that football game last night? It’s not exactly the game I was hoping for, but I just kept thinking how proud those boys should be they even made it there. Right? Glass half full here. 🙂

It’s been a hot minute since I shared my latest Amazon finds with you. I’ve got a little bit of Christmas, a little Valentine’s Day, and a big dose of random for you.

This is what I’ve been ordering late…

This might be the most super random way to kick off an Amazon post. As a mom, I’m always looking for good, protein packed snacks for my kids and well-we found a new one on Saturday. Bowen played in a flag football tournament and in between games a mom was passing out these beef sticks. One by one boys were all commenting about how great they were. Bowen asked me not once but twice if I could find out where we could buy those for our house. Bowen’s new favorite beef sticks arrived on Sunday.

Ebby Lee finally gets to live like “EVERY OTHER KID IN MIDDLE SCHOOL”. She got a cell phone for Christmas!! Santa brought a case that only Santa {and her dad} was into so she used some Christmas money to buy this new case.

Lanolips is my favorite lip balm to use because you basically put it anywhere to help with dry skin. I know I’ve mentioned before but my body is flaking off so it’s really coming in handy right now.

New rugs so new rug grippers were needed. These little stickies on the back of our rugs have made a world of difference.

LED lights were on all three big kids’ Christmas list and Santa delivered {straight from Amazon}. These are long enough to go around each of their bedrooms, colors adjust and so far they’re staying put.

This pack of Starbucks jibbitz were a big hit AND the whole thing cost under $10!

Speaking of jibbitz, this NFL pack full of all the teams was a huge hit on Christmas morning. This set would also make great party favors.

This oversize sweater from Amazon in a small and the color, “apricot”, scored several compliments the first time I wore it.

A couple bedrooms are patiently waiting for the new shutters to arrive. In the mean time a friend told me about these black out shades that attach directly to the window. Super easy to hang and they’re doing the job for the next six weeks.

New year, new workout bands. My old bands were pretty much just out of stretch. The new set I ordered is going to be a little tougher to stretch out because they’re made of a thicker fabric material versus thinner material.

Our toaster didn’t survive the renovation so I grabbed this one from Amazon and it’s working great.

Ebby Lee has already got a little Valentine’s thing planned for her friends so we grabbed these lights to add to the table.

What have YOU ordered from Amazon lately?

Hope you guys have a great Tuesday! See you back here tomorrow!

XO

That black out window thing looks perfect for a bedroom at the ranch! The blinds that were in there broke, and this will be perfect until we figure out what we’re going to do! Yay!

If you like the beef, try the Turkey sticks! I actually like the Turkey better than the beef! 🙂

Hi Josie! I hope he likes them! And it’s Ebby Lee’s first time too but her plan is a scavenger hunt, eat dinner, favorite things gift exchange, and she wants to decorate conversation heart cookies.

Yes! EEK…definitely not an expert on that as we’re just wading into the cell phone waters over here. But so far she has a phone and can text/call friends but no social media. She knows we can check her phone and do read and see it all. To be honest, this seems like an each kid is different and we’ve already told our others just because she got a phone in 8th grade DOESN’T mean you will. They have to earn that trust. Now ask me again in six months and I might feel differently but right now that’s my quick answer.

Try the meat sticks made without yucky nitrates and nitrites! Chomps brand is excellent … Turkey, grass fed beef, jalapeno, etc.

The old Wisconsin Brand also makes a turkey stick that is a bit less greasy than the beef and we loved them just as much! We found ours (both beef and turkey) at sam’s club here in MN.
