My Toiletry Bag Go-To’s

In the fall Tab travels each and every weekend. Add in some other work trips and he’s gone a lot! Well, apparently this spring for me is Tab’s fall.

Did that make any sense?! ha!

I was trying to say that we just got back into town from a trip and are leaving again today for another. When this trip is finished we’re heading straight from one destination to another {while we have grandma in town to babysit} to celebrate my 40th birthday early {because well, August is a TOUGH time of year to get away} in a fun location!

Needless to say, my toiletry bag will be logging some miles.

When we were in Santa Barbara last week, I decided to snap a picture of my toiletry bag. I really try to keep this stocked with travel-size items so that every time I travel I’m not replenishing or searching for those smaller items I’ve put away in the bathroom. I leave EVERYTHING in here and it’s good to go for my next trip. If something runs out, then I replenish. I almost said that it makes traveling easy. Nope, not exactly but it does make packing my toiletries much much easier.

Someone told me to get this toiletry bag years ago. Yep, I just checked and I bought it back in 2021. Maybe a girlfriend? Maybe a random person on Instagram? I can’t remember but I got it and have been using it on every trip since! I even gifted it to others one Christmas!

It’s nice because it all folds out and you can hang the bag or just keep it folded.

These two compartments are where all the magic is stored. haha! I put my tootbrush/toothpaste in one pocket {not pictured} and the other usually holds Tom & Sheri’s Iron in a Bottle Spray.

Shampoo-Olaplex Shampoo in travel size.

Conditioner-Olaplex conditioner in travel size.

Revision Moisturizer-DEJ Face Cream-Can you tell when I travel my main concern is to not have dry skin? haha! Flying dries my skin out, I’m drinking less water, etc. etc. etc….so I always make sure I have plenty of options in my toiletry arsenal.

Chin Masks-This pack and I use them when I need a little lift. 😉

Summer Friday Jet Lag Masque-When you’re traveling and just need a little extra moisturizer for your face, this mask is perfect! I sleep in it all night and then will wash it off the next morning.

Dry Shampoo-Detox Dry Shampoo comes in small travel size kits perfect for a getaway.

Blow Dry Spray-It’s the perfect heat protectant before blow drying and/or styling.

Supergoop Sunscreen-ALWAYS need a little sunscreen after moisturizer. {Nipples up actually ;)}

Gimme Hair Ties-The best hair ties in all the land!

Healthy Glow Hydrating Tint-This tinted moisturizer gives you just a little bit of color. It’s perfect for going to grab some breakfast but not wanting to scare others in your resort-ha! I used this in the Dominican each day instead of putting on real make-up and in Santa Barbara I used this each morning when I went to breakfast/the gym. I feel like I’ve gushed about this hydrating tint before but if I haven’t, I totally should right here. It’s the perfect summer in a bottle tint that will give you a bronzed glow.

Moroccan Oil-I apply this to wet or dry hair to get rid of the frizzy.

Perfume-I change this up each time I have to replenish. Right now I’m using this perfume roller.

I’m popping into the kindergarten field trip with my mom before Tab and I head out of town. I’ll be back here tomorrow though with some FAVES from my week!

XO

Hi Kimbrough! You must not have listened to the podcast episode either. An esthetician once told me that I should be using sunscreen from my nipples up each and everyday. So many of us take extra care of our faces but forgot our neck and chest.

Yes! You must not have listened to the podcast episode where we talk about sunscreen and how important it is. An esthetician told me I should be using it daily nipples up-which is why I said that. 🙂

I travel A TON- international and domestic. This month I’m gone 3 weeks out of the month. I could never find a GOOD travel blow dryer that stores into a carry on, and has power (not wimpy like hotel blow dryers). I got the Babyliss travel blow dryer on AMAZON and LOVE LOVE LOVE it. It is fantastic. Just an FYI if you need a good travel one.
