Friday Favorites-4.28.23

Happy Friday! I’m coming to you today from Orlando, Florida! Tab and I are here for an NFL trip. Every spring all the NFL officials and spouses get together for a little work and a little play. Due to covid and our spring birthdays/sports either the trip hasn’t happened or we just haven’t been able to attend. This year we made it happen! You can follow along via my IG for the fun. Tab’s committed to reminding me to post. 🙂

Andrea and I are here sharing our Friday Favorites! I’m kicking it off with a FAVE we mutually agree on. I’d just made these for my family and then saw Andrea’s post where she shared them as well…

I don’t know a THING about making homemade biscuits but one of my southern girl friends who makes homemade biscuits told me this brand tastes VERY close and will save me lots of time! I made these for my crew on Saturday and we were all ooohing and aaahhing over breakfast. Mary B’s Biscuits, friends. Find them in the frozen section of your grocery store or Walmart. You can thank me later. 😉

This is a TERRIBLE pic but one I actually sent to a friend to share this Ouai Scalp and Body Scrub. It smells HEAVENLY!! I’m gonna exfoliate myself WAY too much just because I want my body to have this scent! I just noticed when finding the link it’s won an Allure Beauty award in the past! TOTALLY understand why…it’s a FAVORITE!

My mom arrived on Wednesday to hold down the fort with the kids while we’re out of town {THANK YOU, MOM!!} and she brought a few goodies with her. These Birthday Cake Flavored Puffs she snagged at Sam’s Club and I think they’re DELISH! Imagine a Pirate’s Booty type of puff but with some cake flavoring instead of just cheese. It’s a little salty, a little sweet and the perfect after dinner snack. New FAVORITE!

Before Tab and I left town yesterday, my mom and I tagged along on Britt’s aquarium field trip!

What is it about a school bus with friends and being away from school that makes field trips SO awesome?! Britty had THE BEST time!

My mom and I cracked up. I’m giving my Apple Watch another go and inside the aquarium when there were approximately 1200 people around with 1050 of those being kindergarteners my watch was telling me to GET OUT! Apparently it was too loud and it was gonna cause hearing issues. Isn’t that crazy?

Getting to see this girly was a FAVORITE! {That aquarium lighting for the pic…NOT a favorite. haha!}

NEW episode is out for a listen! As always you can listen on your favorite podcast platform!

Okay, friends-I’m off to enjoy the day in Orlando. Hope you guys have the best weekend!

    Those biscuits sound amazing and those Birthday Cake Flavored Puffs sound interesting, they sound like something I would like. What fun you had on the field trip.

    Enjoy your time in Orlando! That is hilarious that your watch was telling you to get out– I always knew having kids and listening to their shouting negatively impacted my hearing!! LOL. I’m going to have to keep an eye out for those puffs; they sound yummy.

    As a noise sensitive person who works with autistic kids (also noise sensitive), I totally agree with your watch ;). I’ve never been to an aquarium, but the children’s museum is SO loud with a field trip. So is the park, and that’s outside! So when I see a bus, we leave. No need for meltdowns from me or the kid 🤣. (I only have internal meltdowns. Really. )

      Lydia, I think the aquarium on a typical day would be okay BUT when you have four kindergarten classes plus other schools inside-WAY loud!
