Let’s Look-Low Level Goals 2025

Hi There, Friends!

It’s the very first edition of Let’s Look for 2025. Each month Shay and I team up to share a little peek at how we do something. As always we invite you to join and share yours. The goal is for us all to learn a little something or take a new idea from each other. I’m extra excited about this year of Let’s Look prompts because I think they’re a little outside the norm. It should be a really fun year!

Have you guys heard the term, “Low Level Goals”? I’ve been seeing it pop up a LOT over the last few years. These low level goals often refer to those really kind of easy things that often don’t take much effort or skill. Hence the low level name. 😉 Think of them as the low-hanging fruit of your goal setting for the year. Most of the time they’re not very serious and often even warrant a little, “are you serious?” type of look.

Let’s get right to it!

Erika’s Low Level Goals for 2025:

  1. Print off pictures/add to frames-When we did our big home renovation, we were able to create this little office space for me. I absolutely LOVE it! It’s my own spot where I can leave my work and kind of “close up shop” daily. We added some built-in cabinets and a little desk with wallpaper and a fun light fixture. I bought some picture frames to add to my little spot and STILL HAVEN’T PUT PICTURES INSIDE THEM! This year I’ve gotta fill each and every frame with a photo!
  2. Hang frames-Speaking of photos, our living room has one wall that’s still kind of blank so I bought frames to make a little gallery wall. And that’s it. That’s all I’ve done. The frames are still sitting in the bags. WHY is it so hard to hang something and then again, PRINT the photos out for those frames?
  3. Plan trips-You guys know what I do for my daily 9-5 job, right? I’m a travel agent where I spend the majority of my days planning trips for clients. Wanna know who’s trips I often get overwhelmed with and REALLY struggle? My own family’s! This summer we just have really small pockets of time our entire family can get away so we’re stumped on the perfect {short} getaway for us. And then guess who is celebrating TWENTY years of marriage this summer? YES! The SLAUGHTERS! Once again, our schedules aren’t allowing us a ton of time so we’re unsure what to do.
  4. Pilates-I’ve casually been going to pilates about twice a month for the last several months. I REALLY enjoy it every time I go so why don’t I make it a part of my weekly schedule? Goal for 2025 is a weekly pilates class.
  5. Take Christmas Decorations Down-Friends, I’m a bit embarrassed but I want to be really honest with you so here we are. I told Tab that I’d love his help getting all the tubs down from the attic and them putting it all up. Due to the snow the NFL shipped him out WAY early for his playoff game last week so he was gone six days last week and missed every bit of the fun exciting snow days so the decor is all still up. I’ve stopped turning the twinkling lights on because that seems wrong. This should be an easy one to check off my list, right?
  6. Sports Mom Look-I don’t know WHAT it is about my Instagram algorithm but IG is showing me ALL kinds of cute “Mom in the stands” kind of looks lately. It’s making me think I need to up my sports watching mom game a bit this year.

Now do I have some bigger goals for 2025? ABSOLUTELY! But that’s my list of Low Level Goals for 2025! I’d LOVE to hear one of your low level goals for the year!

Please join us this year…

Hope to see you next month!

XO

Print pictures and hang pictures…LOL! I am known for having picture frames with the models pic still in them all around my house because I just can’t get around to printing the pics and putting them in the frames! AND, I have several boxes of pictures/frames/artwork to hand on my walls that just sit in a spot collecting dust because I just have not gotten around to putting them up…I may be a lost cause

This is GOOD accountability! If I don’t get them up soon, by the time I do the frames won’t even be in style anymore! ha! It’s on my to do list! When it’s finished, I’ll share!
