Friday Favorites-9.8.23

Ladies, this week kicked it into OVERDRIVE on all the things! Even though it was only four days, they were jam packed with sports, practices, games, meetings, etc. And while at the end of most days I was exhausted, I reminded myself I’m going to miss this BIG TIME when they’re gone so I’m doing my best to embrace the crazy of these days. Maybe you needed that little reminder this week as well. ;). And it’s FRIDAY! So I’m here with my girl, Andrea, to share some FRIDAY FAVORITES! This week it’s a big dose of life lately favorites coupled with a few things I’m loving…

It was GAME DAY in our house last week and Britty got the memo! Game Days around here happen to be our FAVORITE!

Speaking of Game Day, my family of six drove up to Norma, Oklahoma, this past weekend to watch OU play our own, Arkansas State Red Wolves. I’ve had this Sooners top in my closet for several years because we had plans for an OU game that fell through. Anyway, on Game Day I was reppin’ the Red Wolves’ colors but decided Friday I’d support the Sooners. I think the boutique where I ordered is sold out of this particular Sooners’ top but they have a few in other teams as well as a TON of other gear. So much cute team stuff!

Saturday morning I went for a quick walk around the hotel, grabbed a coffee and got to watch the first few minutes of College Game Day before we left early for the game.

The hustle and bustle of a college football game is my FAVORITE! In this moment, we all agreed on a game each and every Labor Day weekend but we’ll see if that happens next year….

The Arkansas State cheerleaders were practicing right by our seats so we walked over to ask if they’d just get close to take a pic with Britt. But they were amazing! And they offered to get her down on the field for a quick pic. Super cool of them!

Typical life…everyone is in their Red Wolves’ gear/colors and Bowen wears a CeeDee Lamb jersey. {He played at OU.}. Bowen’s always been the kid who’s playing the odds on who he’s cheering for. Saturday was no different and it worked out well for him {if you saw the score!!}. This is the dress I wore.

It was a TAD warm in the stands!

Despite the score, it was a fun 48 hours!

Guys, it’s been HOT {I know I’m a broken record. I apologize.}, but sometimes you need to dress cute and you don’t want to be drowning in sweat. Tab and I snuck off for a quick dinner and I think it’s a new FAVORITE date night look {until it cools off}. Faux leather shorts and cami {similar} for the win.

My FAVORITE middle schooler had his first football game of the season this week.

The Lions ended the night with a WIN!

Another mom was able to snag a cute pic of several of the boys after the game.

Proud of our #9! The boys had a good first game and we’re ready to watch next week!
