Hey There, Friends!

Well, it’s FINALLY OFFICIALLY here! College football is back, this Thursday NFL games are kicking off, flag football is in full swing, 7v7 is back on, middle school football just started this week, and varsity games are going down as well. We’ve kind of been dipping our toe into football season for the last three weeks but this week it ALL KICKS OFF! And well, starting just a couple years ago when my boys really got into it, the football bug bit me and I’m ALL IN too! What would this blog even be without a big post on all the Mom Day Gear us Football Moms might need in order to be Game Day ready this season!

I rounded up some of my FAVORITE Game Day items to share with you! Many of these are Amazon finds that come in many different colors so it’s super easy to snag your school colors!

I snagged this Game Day tee in “apricot” in a medium. My shorts that are pictured in all of these pics are an old pair and this is the belt.

This tee actually comes in women or men’s sizing so I ordered a women’s small in the red. And this tee comes in many different colors.

This top is from a local boutique but they have several of these Game Day long sleeve tees online. I promise it says, “Game Day”…it’s just difficult to read in my mirror. Nixon’s team is navy/yellow and one of Bowen’s teams is purple/gold so I have great plans for this tee. Just waiting on the weather… ;). I snagged the medium.

I ordered the beige small in this game day top. It also comes in a cute blue I didn’t even notice when I ordered but it’s cute!

On the first day of school I met some friends for breakfast and then walked around our downtown square a bit. I found this Game Day sweater at a local boutique. {When I worked on this post, it was still in stock. Fingers crossed!}. I sized up to a large!

This pink Game Day top I ordered in a medium in white. Every season our middle school boys have a big Breast Cancer Awareness game where they wear pink socks and extra accessories so when I saw this I thought it’d be perfect to wear to that game. Many teams have pink out games the entire month of October which would make it an even better purchase!

This Game Day top is in apricot and a medium. If your team is orange, then this is the one I’d snag for you.

I can’t wait for football weather that requires a sweatshirt! This top is cute and can be worn to any school’s event! I grabbed the medium for some extra room.

This past weekend my crew headed to the Oklahoma vs. Arkansas State game in Norman, Oklahoma. We’re always pulling for Big 12 schools because that’s where Tab started so those were always the first games we attended and watched. We’ve all and my boys especially have gone to many Big 12 games so our hearts are always pulling for the Big 12 schools Tab had back in the day. And OU is one of those! But this past weekend they played our alma mater and where Tab played, Arkansas State University. I ordered us all shirts {Bowen just chose to forgo his and mine was a REALLY THICK cotton which wasn’t good for this past weekend}. I’d also snagged this dress and it ended up being perfect! I ordered a medium and my strapless bra worked great without anything showing plus it was as cool as could possibly be. Arkansas State fans-I got a couple questions about where we snagged our ASU shirts and the boys/Britt’s came from Rally House. Ebby Lee’s came from The Refinery. They shipped right to us quickly.

And then I have a few extra fun things I’ve shared the last two Fridays but just in case you missed them…

First of all, look how CUTE the packaging was when the hats arrived.

I LOVE it! There are five different designs and then fourteen different hat colors. I kept going back to the Game Day hat. It’s my absolute FAVORITE! We technically have four different football teams we’re cheering for this season so my plan was to score a hat that matched for each game day. This is what I ordered…Royal and White Hat with Sparkly Red Letters. Ebby Lee’s freshman team and our local high school are red, white, and blue so it’s pefect!

On Saturdays, one of Bowen’s football teams {he plays for two but I only snagged one hat} is the Tigers. They use purple and gold like LSU {their coach is a big LSU fan} so I grabbed this purple hat with gold sparkly letters. Again, there were four other hat designs but I just kept going back to the Game Day hats so I stuck with what I loved.

And last but certainly not least, Nixon’s middle school team colors are navy and yellow. I grabbed the white hat because I wanted the letters to show up and thought the yellow pin added the perfect bit of yellow.
