Friday Favorites-8.5.22

Do you guys know what today is? It’s the last Friday of our summer! Time flies, friends. And we had a lot of fun this summer so it went by extra quickly.

Andrea and I are sharing our Friday Favorites with you. As always, we’d love for you to join us by linking up and adding your post to the bottom of this post.

First up this week is our laundromat visit. When we got home from Alaska with five suitcases full of dirty laundry, we walked into a house that had the washer and dryer disconnected on a floor that was all torn up. I immediately panicked and then realized the kids and I needed to make a little visit to the local laundromat. You guys! It was such a beneficial trip! I know you won’t be able to tell by the looks on the boys’ faces. ha! But we were able to get EIGHT loads of laundry washed, dried, and folded in just a bit over an hour! It was absolutely incredible! The machines were industrial sized and well, my goodness-moms, you probably feel me. Getting eight loads of laundry finished in less than an hour and a half? Well, that deserves a spot in my Friday Favorites! And a little mom hack from one to another, the next time you get WAY behind on the laundry consider a little laundromat visit. 🙂

Guess who went to cheer camp this week? THIS GIRL! Cheer camp with friends was definitely one of her FAVORITE things. She learned cheers, a dance, jumps, and even a stunt!

This Koia Protein Chocolate Banana Drink was absolutely delicious! I’m not one to know if it really was that good for me or not, but it caught my eye in the gas station when I was absolutely starving . And it happened to be delicious! If you find yourself in a gas station really hungry, give this a try! Chocolate banana is a FAVORITE combination for me…always!

Who else is all up to date on Big Brother? It’s always a FAVORITE summer show! When Monty prayed during the show, it solidified his spot as my FAVORITE! What do you think about Kyle and Alyssa? I’ve been shocked over the last week that he seems to really be crushing on her but is keeping his game play very off limits.

Speaking of FAVORITE shows, I have another new FAVE. The Challenge USA comes on CBS Wednesdays right after Big Brother. This reality/competition show is composed of past Survivor, Amazing Race, Love Island, and Big Brother guests. Each week they have to team up, compete in challenges, and then fight to stay in the game. It’s full of all things I love…challenges, a little reality, someone getting “voted” out, and ex-Big Brother cast. ha!

If you missed my first two vacation posts earlier this week, you can see them here…Part 1 and Part 2. If you have any questions, please send them my way. I’ve got a couple more posts planned and then a Q & A scheduled as well. And if you’d like to set sail to Alaska, please reach out to us at Mix and Match Travel Agency. We’d love to help you plan an amazing vacation for your family!

We moved to Marla’s again this week and she has this coffee. Let me just tell you-I’ve been waking up excited about getting that first up. This Maple Pecan coffee is a FAVORITE!

Okay, friends! I’m off to get some work done before hitting up the pool late this afternoon. Hope you have the best weekend!

Your boys at the laundromat look so big! I’m like “where did her little boys go?!”

And don’t they look so happy? bahahahaha! One of my friends asked, “Guys, wasn’t it kind of fun because it’s different?”. They both looked at her and replied, “No, it wasn’t fun”. hahaha!

I never think of going to the laundry mat when I am so far behind in laundry. i just spend the whole weekend catching up. This would save so much time.

That maple pecan coffee is like fall in a cup. If October tastes like pumpkin spice, September tastes like maple pecan.

When our washer broke down my boys and I schlepped our laundry to the laundromat; it was an experience for sure and one we won’t soon forget.

I took a comforter to our local laundromat and got to talking with the owner. He said he has many women with large families drop, their laundry off weekly because it is such a stress reliever to know laundry is covered!
