Happy Friday, Friends!
Today’s a big day in our house. It’s the first OFFICIAL GAMEDAY for both Ebby Lee and Nixon’s high school teams. After ALL the practices, scrimmages, and hard work this day is one to celebrate! We have that fun ahead of us tonight. Before I sign off to get ready for that, Andrea and I are here with our FAVORITES from the week…
First FAVORITE of the week is this book, Praying Through the Bible for your Kids. I think I’ve mentioned here before how now that my kids are getting older, my prayer time has increased with ALL the things I should be covering them in prayer for tends to grow. Anyway, a friend gifted me this for my birthday and it’s a FAVORITE addition to my morning Bible study time. Can’t even believe I’m saying this because it feels so far away but it would make a GREAT gift for a friend this Christmas.

This is a FAVORITE…painted nails!! I used to get my nails “dipped” every 2-3 weeks and then all of a sudden I developed an allergy to something in the nail salon or a product they were using. I took a giant break and decided to live a risky life. I think I love fall nails/colors the most so I’m chancing it.
Sidenote-do you guys remember when I thought I just randomly developed eczema on my hands? Turns out it was related to a new allergy from getting my nails done. I’ve taken almost a two year break and am anxious to see what happens!

Ebby Lee had friends over this week for a little girls-only Fantasy Football draft. We set out a charcuterie board situation and I ordered these plates. {They come in a pack together.} They’re a smaller size but were perfect for a snack situation. Themed paper plates are my FAVORITE thing. I think it’s a simple way to make an ordinary meal feel a little more special.
If you’re cheering for the refs like we are, then you might wanna add these plates to your cart as well! 😉

Last FAVORITE of the week…Sheaffer texted me that she found our FAVORITE cottage cheese in stock AND she snagged me two containers. I mean talk about friendship! This is like needle in a haystack kind of stuff right here. This cottage cheese is hard to find and well, I felt like I won the lottery! Thank you, SHEAFFER!!

Best cottage cheese EVER! I’m not kidding when I say I’ve already been brainstorming ways I can eat it today. I’m thinking I might go ahead and eat it your favorite way on toast with avocado! I got an heirloom tomato at Whole Foods last night, and I’m thinking I’ll slice that on top of it too. And yes, I’m aware that my excitement is next level and that it seems I’m in my 80s. I’m okay with that.
