Friday Favorites-8.25.23

Hey there, Friends! We’re officially hitting all the things this season and I’m HERE FOR IT! I’m absolutely LOVING these days. Only thing I’d tweak is the weather. ;). Anyone else?

Andrea and I are here with some FAVORITES from the week! In true Friday fashion, I’m sharing a random list of my FAVORITE things from the week. And some are RANDOM so buckle up.

Last Friday I just couldn’t put another pair of shorts on. I was over all of them so I grabbed these white jeans {on major sale!}, colorful top, and bracelets instead. I did my best to still dress the part of triple digits but jeans. The house shoes I’m wearing above are my FAVES!

That evening Ebby Lee and Bowen had plans so to celebrate some things and make any ordinary Friday night a little extra special I took Nix and Britt to the new Bob’s Chop House here in McKinney. Bob’s in Dallas is our family’s Christmas Eve tradition. And I really think if you asked the kids their FAVORITE Christmas tradition almost all would say Christmas Eve service and Bob’s dinner. When we decided to not go to Missouri for Christmas Tab and I vowed to start a new tradition with our family and who knew delicious steaks and calamari would be just what they needed?! ha!

After our dinner, Britt was exhausted and OUT quickly so Nixon and I stayed up to watch some great shows…

We watched Part 1 and Part 2 of the Manti Teo Untold Story….it’s so good! We couldn’t even believe what we were watching!

And we also watched Untold Johnny Football! Again, it was so good! This one made me happy, sad, disappointed, and so much more. I really had all the feelings. He had all the talent and {well, I don’t wanna give it away if you don’t know about him already}…

Another FAVORITE thing...this tennis skirt. I’m a fan of the pleats! It comes in a couple other colors as well. And my FAVORITE walking shoes!

FAVORITE after dinner views…I couldn’t get Nixon in the picture AND Britt so please imagine Nixon at the other side of the yard. Two softball practices in and this girl wants to play all the time!

I don’t want to sound like a broken record when I say Ebby Lee’s first cheering experiencing in high school was hot. The girls did GREAT! And she’s so excited about the season! I knew the cheer parents would be looking into the sun so I tried to dress as cool as possible. Tank {under $20 and comes in other colors}, skirt, football necklace, and bracelets.

Another FAVORITE thing about fall is College Game Day! I don’t know anything I love more than a warm cup of coffee, a blanket, my couch, AND College Game Day on TV! I misunderstood and thought it was coming back tomorrow BUT we have one more week, ladies!

Britty has her first softball AND soccer game tomorrow. I can’t wait to watch! I hope you guys have the best weekend! I’ll be back here next Wednesday! See you then, friends!
