Oh, What a Week! {I hope you read that like Frankie Valli’s & The Four Seasons, “Oh, What a Night” because that’s how I meant it! Except not the romantic encounter part of the song, just the tune! Just felt like I need to clear that up. haha!}

First up…
My two oldest boys had a big week! It was Helmet Striping Night for the Lovejoy Leopards! It’s a father/son tradition and we were oh, so happy Tab was in town to do this. Can you imagine how crooked his stripes would have been if I’d have had to step in?! EEK!
A FAVORITE kind of night for these two AND for me when I get a pic like this.

My Instagram algorithm introduced me to Leanne Morgan and it was love at first clip! Her jokes, her accent, her expressions, her southern stories…I just love it all! She’s a FAVORITE of mine and I enjoyed her new show on Netflix!
Spoiler alert-I’m even seeing her live in Dallas next month and am SO excited about it!

To many of you this pic means nothing, but to those of you who live near me in McKinney, Texas, IT MEANS TRADER JOE’S IS COMING TO OUR LITTLE NECK OF THE WOODS! I really can’t believe it! Our town is going to house not one but TWO Trader Joe’s?! I don’t visit that often because the first TJ’s is just outside of my normal little area but this new Trader Joe’s is practically in my backyard! Discovering this? A FAVORITE!

NEW RECIPE ALERT!!!
I made a recipe this week I knew I had to share with you! It was a new FAVORITE! I used to make Pizza Joe’s often in our house. It’s like a Sloppy Joe but pizza sauce added to the ground beef instead of the “sloppy joe” mixture. I used three pounds of ground beef so I added enough pizza sauce until it was a good consistency. Instead of adding the meat to buns and topping with cheese, we made them bowls! And they were delish! I had rice, red onions, chopped pepperonis, mozzarella, red pepper flakes…think ANY of your favorite pizza toppings! I even added a drizzle of Ranch. I’m telling you-they were DELISH!
Next week when you’re trying to figure out what to make for dinner…try this new FAVORITE!

It’s officially a FAVORITE season around here…FOOTBALL season! Nixon’s team had their first scrimmage last night! I spy my FAVORITE #11!
It was a fun way to kickoff the season!
