Happy FRIDAY, Friends!
I’m not even going to begin count down the days we have left of summer because summer is DWINDLING around here. I had two back to school meetings this past week, we’ve started back to school shopping, and Tab leaves soon for training camp. School season and fall is upon us soon!
I’m popping in today with a list of my FAVORITES from the week…

I’ve mentioned before here on this blog that I’m a fan of Samantha Ponder. I’ve admired her for years. She has this ability to be able to talk sports all while living out her faith. She was fired from ESPN about a year ago and went silent about it….until now. She was on Sage Steele’s podcast sharing her story. This podcast was SO good! These two women dive deep into friendship and how truly going to bat for a friend looks. They discuss having the courage as a Christian woman in today’s society to stand up for what you truly believe in, female insecurities, and so much more. As a Christian mom, I LOVED this episode, a FAVORITE!

This is a FAVORITE tennis dress that I wear when I wanna look put together and stay as cool as possible. I bought mine in the spring and it’s now on sale!

I’d prefer the Nordstrom executives to reach out to me next summer to see when I’ll be out of town on my summer vacation before they announce their Anniversary Sale dates. 😉 The last few years the Anniversary Sale has gone live while I’ve been gone and I’ve been able to share my FAVORITES when I returned. This year it was just too chaotic. I finally have a few FAVORITES worth sharing should you still be shopping {sale ends next Sunday}. Here are my FAVES…

This Airebrush Blow Dry Brush is REAL good! My blow dry brush died a few months ago so I decided to try this one. I LOVE it! I let my hair air dry a bit and then used it so it didn’t take an hour. It left my hair super smooth and would absolutely recommend. Especially at this price point!
After years of shopping this sale, the items I STILL have in my closet are all the Zella pieces I’ve ordered through the years. {Minus the REAL wild patterns. ha!} The leggings, jackets and tops all hold up so well. Now is a great time to stock up on the basics at a GREAT price!
I always grab a pair or two of pajamas. This year I stocked up on two pair of the cropped. These pj’s are so well made!

How DARLING are these pieces?! The snack bowl helmet, football plates, and the field serving tray all together will make THE CUTEST charcuterie set up this football season! FAVORITES!

I’ve been reading through this devotional and am LOVING it! It’s meant to be a weekly devotional but the lessons are quick so I’m making it a daily devotional. It’s a FAVORITE!

This is the last REALLY chill weekend we have before it gets back to school busy so we’re going to just enjoy the moments. Hope you have a GREAT WEEKEND!
XO

One of my favorite things this week was you encouraging me to listen to that podcast episode. It was SO good!
LOVED it!!
I am the same as you! The Nordstrom sale just fell at a weird time, and it was very hard to get into it. Who are we? Haha! I am back in the classroom today for 1st day of pre-planning. I cannot believe it’s already here. I hope you guys have a great weekend chillin’!
Oh girl…just like that summer is over! Enjoy your first day back! I always loved it once I was back with my co-workers getting ready for the students.
Love the football plates! Have a great weekend!

Happy Weekend!
Nordstrom is the place to go for shoes, for us gals with a bigger feet. They had the best selection in Yakima WA so many years ago, and I hope that has not changed, because do we ever want to, not have cute shoes? Happy Friday!
Of course not! 🙂
Oh no! The start of school does come around so quickly.
That tennis dress looks so good on you and what great finds from Nordstrom.
Have a great weekend!
Thank you, Kim!
I have really liked Sam Ponder too! And it feels like summer moved so fast this year.
Have you listened to that podcast??
If Ponder truly wanted to champion women’s sports, she’s had ample opportunity to talk about disparity. But she hasn’t. Because this has nothing to do with “fairness.” Only not giving love to other human beings. Do better as a Christian.
We just see that differently because I think her sharing her thoughts on women sports was just that, giving love & help to the women who’d be competing against them.
