Happy Friday, Friends!
What a week! It’s been so good for my soul to be back at home this week. We’ve had tons of appointments, therapies, workouts, etc. and it felt so good to get back into the swing of our summer routine. I’ve got a list of some of my FAVORITES from the week and as always, I’m joining my girl, Andrea, to host! We’d love for you to join us!
First up some FAVORITE day to day, summer mom/uber driver outfits…tank and skort {on sale}.
If you guys remember, I snagged this romper in black first and loved it so much I also bought it in grey. It’s super comfy, lightweight, doesn’t show my unmentionables {like my bra-in those armholes like some do}, and it looks a little more put together than me wearing sweats {BUT that’s what this feels like}. It’s on sale right now! And those new slides! Also, Sara, I lied to you! You said yours squeaked. I said that mine didn’t but I started listening and THEY DO! Still think they’re cute, comfy and a GREAT deal! But they squeak!
Sorry for the blurry pic! I was running kids everywhere {you can see the rush in the background} and wanted to remember to snap this pic! I have this tennis dress in “lollipop”. I sized up because I’m crazy long waisted and I needed it! It’s super comfy and has built-in cups. Also on sale right now!

THANK YOU for sharing YOUR FAVORITE Beach Vacation meals! I put several into good use and am gonna use a few others this next week in our dinner rotation! I think I’ve mentioned before but I enjoy cooking dinner most nights but I can’t stand making the same thing over, and over, and over again. I’ve gotta change it up to keep things just a tad exciting. I do repeat meals but a couple times a week I’m trying something a little new to us. Anyway, if you’re the same and need a new recommendation, this is what we cooked at our beach rental…
*Major charcuterie board-deli meats, pepperoni, salami, pickles, olives, cheeses, crackers, veggies, dips, and chips. Our first day arriving was kind of chaotic and while I had big plans to make dinner, there just wasn’t time so I threw all this out on the island and we dined that way!
*Shrimp Boil-you guys mentioned this multiple times and this was delicious! Tab actually made this and he used shrimp, potatoes, corn and seasonings. Our kids devoured it! We all did, for that matter. ;). It’s definitely one I’m going to start adding into our home rotation and I think we’ll throw in some sausage and onions as well. THANK YOU for sharing!
*Burgers-I’ve gotta give Tab some props. I don’t know if it was the sun and the sand or WHAT? But his grilling skills were SO good at the beach. We actually had burgers two different nights because my kids agreed and said the burgers were so good they wanted them again!
*Our family friends had us over for dinner one night and make tacos with all the fixin’s. My friend, Shanna, made THE MOST DELICIOUS corn to go with the tacos AND homemade salsa! As soon as we got home I tried to recreate both! They were delish! It spiced up our regular taco night by adding both of those!
*We also ordered pizza and seafood in one night. EASY!
*I didn’t have a chance to make the grilled chicken salads with fries but that’s on my menu next week!
Thank you AGAIN! To everyone who shared an idea! I’m going to keep incorporating them in our meal plans!

I typically don’t share books before I’ve fully finished reading the entire thing but I’m about 1/3 of the way through this one, The Last Letter, and I want to hide in a closet {where my family can’t find me} so I can do absolutely nothing until I’m finished. A girlfriend I’ve made from Tab’s work trips recommended it when we were in Portugal. This is the same author who wrote The Fourth Wing, but this is a love story kind of book. {WAY different!}. So far I’ve cried and laughed out loud! There is a cancer diagnosis in the story, just fyi. This far in it’s a new FAVORITE and typically not a genre I love.

This pair of Nike shoes is the only thing I’ve received from my Anniversary Sale order so far! And I love them! I’ve thought I’d make them a Friday FAVORITE since I opened the box but they’re sold out. :(. However, there are still lots of fun sneakers in the sale!

This guy might be everyone’s FAVORITE from the week…
We picked this sweet face up on Monday from the trainer/boarder and were all SO HAPPY to see him!
I’m still not a dog person but I’m smitten for this particular dog. {WHO EVEN AM I?? BAHAHAHA!}. And he was equally as excited to see his FAVORITE six people!

I hope you guys have a great weekend! We have a few things to do but not on ton on the calendar. It should be a great one!
XO
Such cute finds, Erika! But you linked your daughter’s volleyball instead of that cute romper!
Changing it now!
Laughing SO hard about the squeak! I still wear and love mine…I just can’t sneak up on anybody while I am wearing them.
HOW did I not notice that before? HAHAHAHAHAHA!
What a fun roundup! I love those meal ideas!

Thank you!
What size did you get in the grey romper? I love it. Also, the link doesn’t seem to be working for me. 😕
I think the link is working now?? Let me know if it’s not. But I have a medium!
Can you share details on the shrimp boil?
We bought the McCormick Shrimp Boil in a bag for ours and they were SO EASY!!
I read the blurb for The Last Letter on Amazon. What an intriguing premise. Love your new pup. Totally adorable!
I hope I have some time to finish it this weekend!
Time away is awesome but coming back home (to my mind) fantastic.
Thanks for hosting weekly, Erika. Hope you have a fab weekend.
My entries are #39+40
