Hi Friends!
Happy Friday!
If you followed along with my day yesterday and sent a message, I’ll get to those this weekend! Promise I’ll respond soon!
I’m gonna get right to it today because #baseball. Andrea and I are here sharing some Friday Faves from the week! I have a couple faves coupled with a FAVORITE trip we took this summer so keep reading. It’s a long one.

My first FAVORITE from the week is the NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE! My neighbor just sent me a picture yesterday of my packages that have already arrived on my porch! Can’t wait to share with you next week!
If you missed my post on Tuesday,

Farm Rio Dress-Last year I scored a Farm Rio dress in this sale and was SO GLAD I had that in my closet. I took it on several trips and wore it to a couple date nights. It’s always nice when you have something come up that needs a certain outfit and you have that just waiting for you in your closet. This dress looks like it can be worn all year long {or pretty much in Texas} by just changing up the shoe wear!
New Balance Sneakers-Remember how I’ve declared my love for a tennis skirt? Well what pairs better with that look than a cute neutral sneaker. I’ve had my eye on this style for a while and am so happy to see it at this price point.
Multichain Necklace-Yes, yes, yes! The perfect gift for any woman in your life or for you! I love adding new versatile jewelry items during this sale.
Running Shoes-I literally left my current pair of workout/running shoes in the garbage on Nantucket. I need a new pair of running shoes in my life and actually saw a friend wearing this pair yesterday. When I asked about the shoes, she gushed and gushed. She works in many OR’s and told me they’re THE most comfortable shoe she’s worn to surgery. I was SOLD!
Blazer-Blazers are ALL the rage this season and while there are some cute fall colored options, Texas doesn’t give me the best weather for getting all layered up in the fall. This blazer screams more “winter” and I’m here for that.
Running Shorts-How CUTE are these shorts?!
Western Boots-I’m a sucker for a western boot and this pair with the two-tone leather is adorable. The hardest part for me was deciding which color combination to go with.
Hooded Vest-The athletic wear in this sale never lets me down. I love a vest to pair over workout clothes or when I’m headed out for errands.
White Boots-I already have a pair of white boots but I included this pair for you! If you’ve been considering a white pair of boots, these are a great price point!
Full Zip Jacket-Athleisure jacket? YES, yes, yes!

Do you know what just released on Netflix Tuesday? The new show, Quarterback, where they follow three different NFL quarterbacks to show us a peek at their behind the scenes lives. I can’t really name it a FAVORITE quite yet because I haven’t watched BUT the boys watched it last night {I honestly think they watched the entire season yesterday. We wanted them to rest and chill and they did just that.}. My boys gave it GREAT reviews! They recommend!

And now some FAVORITES from our 4th of July trip to Nantucket! Shay and her crew have been on Nantucket all summer so we planned months ago to go visit them over the 4th of July. I don’t even know where to begin. Shay and Andrew thought of everything they could possibly imagine to make the trip special. And when you added in the fact we hadn’t seen them in a month, well that just made it extra special! I didn’t take that many pictures because I was living in the moment but here’s a little recap of our visit….

This girly and I were seat mates on the flight to Nantucket!

Andrew surprised the boys with a fishing expedition and it was super successful!

EEEEKKKK!!! Reunited and it feels so good! {Please tell me you sang that as you read it.}.
Shay and Andrew took us to all their favorite spots…lobster, sushi, breakfast sandwiches. You name it and we tried it during our stay. DELICIOUS! One night we went to dinner just the four of us + Britt and Madeley. Great times!

On the 4th of July, we crammed as much fun into one day as we possibly could…a yummy brunch and 4th of July festivities.

We strolled around town a bit to check out the sights.

Living our best lives!

Or so we thought until we got on the boat! This might have been my FAVORITE part! We rode out to a little cove area and all got to swim. So much fun!

We were loving boat life! {We hadn’t left the dock yet. Everyone under 12 got life jackets.}

I think she’s a boat girl. 😉

There were so many boats out on the water, gorgeous homes, lots of American flags. It was the best way to spend 4th of July afternoon. We went back to the Shulls’ house to grill burgers for dinner.

I love me a burger any day but it tastes just a little better on the 4th.

Then it was FIREWORK TIME! We all loaded up to make our way to the beach for viewing. These two are PRECIOUS!

There’s just something magical about fireworks on the 4th.

Shay and Andrew have become beach professionals so our beach days were great. They had all the supplies ready, the best snacks, all the beach gear, and everything we’d ever need. A whole lotta kids in the water living it up!

We even got to sneak away, leave the big kids in charge and catch up with these two solo! We miss these guys so much!
Shay and Andrew are the host/hostess with the most/mostest! {I tried to make that work for two people! ha!}. They made our first family visit {I’m totally inviting myself out again, see what I did there} to Nantucket so much fun. We all fell in love with their favorite island…the food, the weather, the beach, the sights. And we’re ready to go back! But first…we want them to come home! Ha ha! Thank you Shulls for making our framily vacation such a special one! We love you! XO

NANTUCKET AND COLORADO WEATHER
Need I say more about this one? We’ve had really warm days in both places over the last couple weeks but our FAVORITE has been escaping the Texas heat.
*************************

Know what product I’ve been loving? My KINDLE! I pulled it out of the back of a drawer and have been going to town on some books. {I’ll share with you soon!}. If you don’t own a Kindle yet, let me tell you it’s so much easier to travel and read with one! It’s my FAVORITE way to read books anytime but especially on a trip.

WHEW! That was a long post! If you made it to the end of this, you deserve an extra cup of coffee. 😉
Happy Friday, Friends! Hope you have the best weekend!
XO

So glad you had a great time in Nantucket!
I have to say we watched a few episodes of Quarterback and everyone (including my 11 yo daughter) loved it! We are also Vikings fans so it was fun to see Kirk Cousins. 🙂
I love your gold hoop earrings ( shay was wearing the same pair). Will you share the brand or where you bought them? Thanks!
Mine are Madwell! I have them in two different sizes because they’re light and I loved them so much! 🙂
What a great time in Nantucket! Love being on the water.
Please share where you bought or what brand the gold hoop earrings that you and Shay both have on! Love them!
Well I could just cry reading your captions. We love you guys BIG TIME! We’re ready for you to come back ASAP!! In the meantime though, we’re excited to come home and see you all! #herecomesfall !
