Friday Favorites-5.27.22

Happy Friday! Well, the sun came out here in McKinney, Texas, yesterday and I was reminded what summer really should feel like. I happened to go a little too light on the sunscreen and am now sporting a sunburn, but that sun felt good! I’ve got a few FAVORITES to share with you before I’m off for a long four-day weekend with family to celebrate Memorial Day. The girls and I had a little stroll through Target this week and this Peanut Butter Chocolate Trail Mix found it’s way into my cart. You guys! You need this in your life. It’s got peanuts, peanut butter chips, little peanut butter cups, some of that puppy chow mixture, and I’m sure I’m missing a few things. It’s so good! We started eating and had the hardest time stopping…definitely a FAVORITE!

The FAVORITE popsicle in our house so far this summer is this one, the Mango Outshine Bars. SO SO GOOD! When you grab that trail mix, you should throw a box of these in your cart as well. A Summer 2022 FAVORITE!

I grabbed THIS USA SWEATSHIRT and absolutely love it! Sized up to an XL because I wanted it more oversized. It’s soft, comfy, and will be perfect for any cool days this summer. {I don’t have a picture because every mirror in my house is practically missing at the moment.}

This weekend is one of my FAVORITES…love this throwback picture of the girls. Memorial Day Weekend 2018. This year we have lots of fun with friends and family time on the calendar.

Five years ago, we’d just gotten home a few days before from China and we celebrated big with a huge part of our community watching fireworks over Memorial Day weekend.

As much as I love getting together with friends in the summer, it wouldn’t be possible without all the brave men and women who sacrificed it all. This weekend we honor the true heroes of America, and may we always remember their sacrifices.
