Happy Friday, Friends!
This week we wrapped up BIRTHDAY WEEK in our house! We passed a driver’s test, we got our license, we celebrated with friends, we had special family dinners, we opened gifts, we had the cake, and well, we celebrated as much as we possibly can. 🙂 Now, we rest. hahaha!
I’m popping in today to share some FAVORITES from the week {as always, I’m joining Andrea}…
My FAVORITE seventeen-year-old with her siblings…Ebby Lee’s birthday was on Thursday and she decided to join me for the District Track Meet to watch Bowen in a couple events. She hadn’t been able to make any of his other meets.
Then she met friends at one of her FAVORITE places for dinner and they surprised her back at our house for dessert! THE SWEETEST girls made her night so special. {Mind you, I was still at Bowen’s track meet, Tab was out of town, and another sweet family friend/babysitter took Britt to her softball game…}
Where the girls played great and all got game balls! Oh, and did I mention Tab was out of town?! haha!

Have you guys started watching this new documentary on Netflix?! It was so good! I couldn’t wait to finish the four episodes….new FAVORITE! You’ve gotta watch!

On Saturday, Nixon attended his high school’s prom with a junior friend. It’s junior/senior at his school but several of his sophomore friends were going. His date looked SO pretty!
Tab and I didn’t attend pictures because Bowen was playing baseball at the same time and honestly, Nixon was FINE with us not being there. Thankfully some of my mom friends sent me pics!

Sunday we celebrated Nixon’s birthday with church, lunch, he had football, dinner out and then we all went to the championship game for Bowen’s baseball tournament. {THAT ENDED AT 10:30!}. The next day Nixon had his driver’s test and DPS appointments. I don’t know about you where you guys live but there’s so much to remember I was a nervous WRECK! We did it! I took ALL the right things and he got that license! WAHOO!

A girlfriend told me to start listening to this FAVORITE new podcast. I started listening and immediately told some friends to listen. 2/3 of those girls passed me up and kept texting about HOW SHOCKING AND GOOD THIS PODCAST WAS! Friends, it’s a GOOD listen!

Next week I’m tagging along on a work trip with Tab. He’s been SO very busy at work! I’m excited to get away and my kids are SO EXCITED about grandparents rolling into town! Win-win for us all! Hope you guys have a great week!
