Nixon Talbot turns FOURTEEN!
And I couldn’t be more proud of the young man he’s becoming. Here I am again this week all up in my feels! Two birthdays in one week is too much!
He’s still my sports-loving kid who’s either playing a game or watching a game. He’s got the best sense of humor with just the perfect amount of sarcasm. And he loves hanging out with his friends {like all teens}.
Sidenote…he was absolutely THE toughest toddler in The Slaughter House {and who am I kidding, probably the toughest toddler in my ENTIRE friend group. he’s well aware…he lived it…he remembers}, but let me tell you now his teen self makes ALL THOSE crazy toddler days well worth it! {Let this be some major encouragement if you have a tough kiddo. They’ll grow up and they’ll be amazing! You can do this, Mama! Keep loving them hard!}
My goodness! What a joy and honor it is to get to see him grow into the young man he’s becoming.
We love you so very much, Nixon! I can’t wait to see what this year holds. I’m praying it’s your best year yet! Love you big! XO

Next week I’m traveling with Tab on a work trip so I won’t be posting here but I did add some things to my spring wardrobe I’m excited to share when I return.
