Friday Favorites-3.7.25

HAPPY FRIDAY!

Friends, we’ve had a WEEK over here! Lots of things have caused this to be a tough one. My mama heart has been stressed for days. I talked to another mom friend on Wednesday and she said and I quote, “It was too much. I just had to put myself in the bed”. Yep. I’ve never understood her more. Sometimes we have hard weeks and we’ve just gotta keep trudging along.

Today, I’m here with my girl, Andrea, to share some FAVORITES from the week…

My first FAVORITE of the week is this e-book by my friend, Lauren, 11 Days in a Carry-On. Not only is it full of information {I’d STRUGGLE to get 11 days worth of things in a carry on} but it’s also the cutest book! I viewed/read this on my computer and highly recommend doing it that way because the pages were plenty big and I could see it all so well. I love getting to see friends do great things so it’s an extra FAVE this week!

************************

I mismanaged my coffee creamer supply and was without my FAVORITE creamer a few days this week. BOO! This Almond + Coconut Creamer is so tasty! Let’s just say that my life felt “right” again when it was back in my refrigerator.

*************************

Last weekend we got to celebrate this past cheer season. Ebby Lee got to be a part of this gorgeous {both inside & out} group of girls for the past year. Lots of early morning practices, many football games, and countless encouraging chats were had between this crew. This season will be remembered as a FAVORITE, for sure!

*************************

My FAVORITE second grader joined some friends and performed a little dance at the Talent Show! This adorable group danced to “Pump Up the Jam” and they killed it!

This is what it looks like after you nail your dance performance! 🙂

*************************

I wish I had a better picture for you but I forgot to take one. However, this little crossbody purse is slowly becoming a new FAVORITE! It’s tiny, comfy, easy to wear, and matches both of my kids schools {I find myself in school colors a LOT lately}.

*************************

I’ve gotta sign off quickly today. I’m off to head to a high school baseball game. I didn’t have enough time this week to get together my list of things I have my eye on because IT’S BEEN A WEEK. ;). But I hope you have a great weekend and I’ll see you back here next week!

XO

So sorry you have had a tough week, I hope the weekend is better for you.
Oh no! Life feels wrong when you are without your favourite coffee supply. I’m glad you’ve restocked.
Well done to both groups of girls, with the cheer squad and the little dancers.

Hi Kim! Yes, sometimes as moms we just carry a lot of the weight of our kids’ concerns, you know? That’s what I did this week. Thank you!

Nothing more true than sometimes as moms, we just need to put ourselves to bed. Sending peace your way.

Based on it being 8:07 AM, and we’ve already had multiple phone calls today, I think that sums up our week. BRING ON THE WEEKEND!

I love your blog and have been following you for quite some time, but recently I haven’t received any emails and I don’t know where to re-sign up. Any help you can provide will be most appreciated.

Marian, thank you for following along! The emails used to come automatically and now the service is different. I need to work on this again!

I feel you, especially this past week.
No one really prepares you for the constant worry that comes with the teen years—social media, tryouts, team dynamics, grades, driving, and the pressure of college. It’s a lot to handle.

YES YES YES STACY! That’s it! It’s been a BIG week in our house. Turned out to be a good one but you just never know. I saw a quote from a friend I need to share that was something about how the parenting teen years are hard because we’re carrying all their concerns as moms. I was LUGGING those concerns this week!

Any chance you can share details on Ebby Lee’s sweet dress in the cheerleader pic? My daughter is looking for something similar for a concert. Thanks!

Hey Briana! Ebby Lee’s is old so I can’t find the exact one but it’s from Abercrombie. I think they keep the same pattern but tweak the fabric/colors.
