Friday Favorites-2.23.24

It’s FRIDAY! Happy, Happy Friday, Friends! The last two weeks we’ve had all the appointments and some sicknesses thrown in for good measure! I’m looking forward to a really slow week next week. {As a mom is there such a thing as a slow week? These kids are always throwing me for a loop!}

I’m popping in today to share some FRIDAY FAVORITES with you! As always, I’ve teamed up with my girl, Andrea, to bring you some of my FAVES!

My first FAVORITE of the week HAS to be the WEATHER! WAHOO!! It’s been in the upper 70’s every day and absolutely gorgeous! Tab on the other hand, has been fighting an internal battle with the spring allergies but I’m living my best life. Have you had gorgeous weather where you live?

The nice weather from the week had me pulling out more spring clothes. You know I’m a fan of a tennis skirt/skort! I paired my skirt {I always size up in tennis skirts unless they come in a “long” option and I couldn’t find this color combo/size in the “long”}n with this Amazon workout top {that’s on major sale now and comes in so many colors plus long or short sleeve}. I’m wearing the medium. I ordered both the small and medium and thought the small was a bit too tight-especially when workout tops are tight anyway.

Not so much the majors, but both of my boys are deep in the middle of practices, hitting lessons, etc. BASEBALL IS BACK in our house!

For years and years Nixon threw too hard to really benefit from playing with Bowen. And then one day Bowen was big too. They’re growing up right before my eyes. I wasn’t even planning on taking this picture in this direction but a FAVORITE is being able to watch that happen. I know not everyone gets that opportunity {always thinking of my sweet Manda} so I’m thankful for the late nights at practice, early morning games, and nights at the park. I’m absolutely honored I’m here to take it all in.

And on a much less emotional note, the weather was amazing, the boys were long tossing, while…

Britt had her first softball practice of the season! Softball is her FAVORITE so I’m happy she’s getting to play again!

Okay, a FAVORITE guilty pleasure of mine is Love is Blind on Netflix. Have you watched? Nick and Vanessa Lachey are the hosts and how the experiment begins is there are single guys on one side of the pods and single girls on the other. They essentially date behind walls until several couples {typically around five} end up falling in love, getting engaged and finally meet. Then we see the weeks leading up to the wedding. This is where the show really gets good….ultimately we get to see it play out if love is truly blind. It’s a show that I can have on in the background and make calls, type emails, even write blog posts because I don’t need to give it my undivided attention but I can pop in every now and then to get the gist of what’s happening. Needless to say, if you like a little background noise while you work, give it a try!

Did you see my post on Wednesday? Stripes + Spring are my FAVORITES!

This neon pink/neon coral striped sweater is absolutely perfect for these warmer spring days. The color SCREAMS warmer temps while the material still provides a little added warmth. I sized up to a medium because I’m not a fan of a tight sweater. It kind of does a natural little front tuck all on it’s own but I paired mine with these jeans {in a 27, I probably could have gotten a 26 but I’m thinking after I dry them they’ll be just fine}.

I’m not sure if I’ve shared this little Migraine Stick but if you’re someone who can lend yourself to headaches, I recommend giving this a try! One of my girlfriends is a NP and she said this has really helped some of her patients. Getting a nasty headache is never a FAVE, but I’ve started keeping one of these with me just in case!
