Disney Wish-Day Two

Happy Day Two Aboard the Disney Wish! We woke up yesterday morning on Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay. I was in major need of some sleep after my late arrival into Orlando. I woke up just a bit before my alarm and made my way to grab some breakfast before our first meeting. This is a terrible picture {I’ll try to do better tomorrow} but these flowers hanging from the ceiling are so cute!

We had a short 1.5 hour meeting in one of the theaters where we got to take little deeper look at Disney Cruise Line.

Disney’s purchased a new island in the Bahamas and are working on creating this picture above for guests to enjoy when they port at Lighthouse Point.

A couple of the ladies and I made our way off the ship to find Serenity Bay, the adult-only side of the island.

And it was absolutely amazing! Adult-only, a separate dining location, and complete relaxation!

Proof I was there. :). This is a bit of a tricky situation when it comes to taking pics. I enjoyed the sun until about 2:30 p.m. and then came back onto the ship to get a little work done before I needed to get ready for the show and dinner.

A quick transformation before our night two entertainment.

This is such an easy thing to miss but one of my favorite things about Disney Cruise Line is their attention to ALL THE DETAILS! Check out the light fixtures in my hallway.

The show this evening was The Little Mermaid…there’s Broadway type talent on this ship! It was amazing and it took me back to when I was six-years-old. Pictures aren’t allowed during the show but I wanted to share how magnificent the theater is.

Right now Disney Cruise Line is celebrating their 25th year sailing so we had a small celebration in the Grand Hall before dinner.

I snagged a selfie with these new friends right before dinner in the 1923 restaurant.

I chose tortellini {it was DELISH!}, a caesar salad, and this filet with potatoes and green beans. Our table ordered our dessert to go to head to the fireworks on the pool deck to celebrate year 25, but I was so tired and my apple cheesecake was screaming at me. haha! So two of us decided to skip the party on the pool deck {we have Pirate Night tomorrow} for an earlier bedtime.

One last pic of my day before I eat my dessert in bed. I’d say Day #2 was a great one when I’m ending like that. 😉
