Hey Friends! Instead of me doing a big long Disney Cruise recap of my entire trip, I decided I’d recap each day for you so hopefully you’ll feel a bit like you’re right here on the ship with me. :). If you missed it, I’m on an Agent Education Program trip onboard Disney’s newest ship, the Wish. We have a bit of training each day and then we’re doing our best to chat best practices as much as possible. Let’s get right into my recap because there’s even more fun to be had…
Sunday night at 9:00 p.m. I boarded a flight from Dallas to Orlando. Since it was Mother’s Day and both boys were in baseball tournaments {that got rained out mid-Sunday} I was trying to leave at THE VERY LATEST moment I could but still make the cruise. I got to my hotel in Orlando at 2:00 a.m. Orlando time. EEEK!! I got in late, slept in a bit, got ready and made it over to the cruise terminal to board the Wish on Monday mid-day.
There’s always a bit of excitement in the air in this Disney terminal. You know there’s fun and adventure awaiting! If you followed my IG stories, I mentioned I was nervous about this trip. I knew NO ONE! And well, being on a ship for four nights is a long time when you know no one so I’d expressed my concerns at my house and had been praying I’d meet some really great agents who I hit it off with. You guys! God showed up! I was standing in the shuttle line at the airport and one of the Disney Cruise Line workers mentioned I must be with the travel agent group. I looked over in line and there was another woman standing alone so I introduced myself. We started talking and our staterooms are RIGHT NEXT DOOR TO EACH OTHER! And get this, we even have a connecting door! hahaha! So we boarded together!
We checked out the Oceaneer’s Club for the kids…..it was incredible!
There were so many cool areas for kids inside.
This particular time frame was the only time the club was open for guests. Parents could go with their kids to show them around and it was the perfect time for me to take some pics!
We popped into the lunch buffet to get something to eat. This was my view from the table. 🙂
My lunch was sesame salmon, carrots, rice, a potsticker and some grilled beef with honey mustard and sriracha. It was delish!
I was dying to get a look at my stateroom…it is NICE!
It’s difficult to see in the picture but that painting above the bed kind of sparkles in the light. #disneymagic
I’ve gotten asked the question, “Why did I not bring a guest?”. And the answer is we weren’t allowed to bring a guest. With this program it was for one adult only and no one else.
Views from my stateroom before we set sail!
From the verandah looking into the stateroom. Disney does such a great job of thinking of everything. My clothes are packed away in the closet giving me so much space inside the cabin.
The bathroom in these cabins are split so shower/sink in one room and the toilet/sink in another room. It makes it nice if multiple people are getting ready at the same time.
And a well lit mirror. ;). I’ve gotten some questions about my hair and dress BUT my links aren’t working on the cruise ship so I’ll do an entire post when I’m back next week with information for all the things. :). Promise!
My plan was to hit the pool, but I had a few emails come in that I needed to knock out so I enjoyed the views from my stateroom while I worked.
Our entire group of 40ish people met up for the evening show.
In between the show and dinner, we popped into the Star Wars lounge to check it out.
It reminded me of Oga’s Cantina in Hollywood Studios.
Two of the girls and I scooted over to The Bayou. This little spot was ADORABLE! Just so happened a game of trivia was just about to start so we played and got second place {WAHOO!!}.
New friends getting to know each other. 🙂
And then our entire group was all seated together for dinner…
In Arendelle :).
Look who popped in to see us during dinner. I had a cheese and ham tart, split pea soup, and cod with potatoes. A delicious dinner but…
Now I’m ready for bed. I’m WIPED! Tomorrow morning we port at Castaway Cay! I can’t WAIT!

So fun! I love the tile look in the shower. It looks more like a real shower and less like a cruise shower! 🙂
I loved that about the tile too!
You’re living my dream vacation right now! I’m so excited to hear all the details when you return!! I love Disney Cruise Line SO MUCH!!
I’m having FUN!
Girl- you have five days to yourself with no kids, no husband.. and you get to be on a Disney Cruise. ENJOY. 🙂
Thanks, Amy!
How fun! Love that you are taking us with you in real time. Can’t wait to keep following along!
Thanks, Alyssa! Glad you’re excited about it!
We sailed on the Wish back in October and loved it. By chance, every single other Disney Cruise we’ve taken has been on the Wonder so it was a big size difference. Still thought it was so fun!
Hi Therese! It’s a STUNNING ship!
Looks like you’re already having a great time! So happy you found your person! 🙂
2 am? Wow; I don’t think I could have handled that but I get why you planned it that way. It sounds like a great 1st day.
