Disney Fall Trip: Part One and The Bestie Breakdown Episode 29: Breaking Down DISNEY!

Happy, Happy Tuesday! I’m getting right into it today because I’m sharing a lot! Do you remember back in October of 2021 Shay and I took the little girls to Walt Disney World? We surprised them the morning we were leaving and to say they were pumped would be a bit of an understatement. We left on Madeley’s birthday, stayed three nights, spent three days at the parks, and had the best little getaway!

Shameless plug is gonna happen early in this post. 😉 The reason we visit Walt Disney World so much is because we plan these trips! I’m sure you’ve heard. ha! Yes! I work on the Disney team for Mix and Match Travel Agency and I spend most of my week planning Disney vacations for clients. We book your ground transportation, your resort stay, your tickets, your dining reservations, your park pass reservations, your stroller rental, your tours, and so much more! We take care of all the details! If you’re contemplating a Walt Disney World vacation, please reach out to us right here. We’d love to help you! We want to be up to date with the latest things happening at Walt Disney World so we visit often.

When we visit sometimes we do the same thing but most of our time is spent catering our days to whomever is traveling with us. This time we had the little girls in mind so we planned this vacation all around them! I’m sharing the things we did that I happened to take pictures of so if you were headed to Walt Disney World for the first time, we would suggest some of these things and some others.

The views outside our window…on this trip we stayed at The Beach Club Resort. I love this resort for so many reasons but these views and the location are just naming a few.

Two super happy girls to be checking into their Disney resort.

I snapped a couple pictures of the room before we took over with all our things…bathroom with two sinks and a separate shower/tub/toilet area.

And bedroom….complete with two queen beds and a pull out sleeper sofa {where I was standing}.

We dropped our bags and immediately headed to Animal Kingdom. {My favorite flight from Dallas to Orlando is the EARLY one!}

Pandora is STUNNING! By the way, if you have Disney+, I highly recommend watching The Most Magical Story on Earth: 50 Years of Walt Disney World-especially if you’re headed there anytime soon.

We hit up the Na’vi River Journey ride first…the colors are so pretty.

The Kilimanjaro Safari was another MUST with these girlies.

It just so happened Disney’s new Fast Pass System, Genie+, went live the day we arrived at Walt Disney World so we got to have an up close and personal look at this new system.

Tusker House with characters was for dinner! {And our matching shirts all came from Etsy.}

I get asked a lot about character meals and how the characters are interacting with the kids…these pictures give you a good idea. Each character came over to take pictures and interact from a distance.

Our girls thought this was super cool and didn’t seem to notice or care they weren’t closer.

Daisy’s always been my favorite. One of the characters even led us in singing, “Happy Birthday” to Madeley…they really went above and beyond to make the girls feel special!

TricertaTop Spin was a favorite!

And then we made our way over to Magic Kingdom for the After Hours Boo Bash. It was a three hour event where guests can experience special decorations, spooky party music, cavalcades, trick-or-treating, and some of their favorite attractions at night.

You know what was even more magical at night during the Boo Bash? The Haunted Mansion! ha! Look at her face!

We arrived at the bash around 7 and didn’t leave the party until 11! These girls HUNG IN THERE!

We happened upon one of the cutest {even though my pics are terrible} cavalcades complete with Mickey and friends.

Britt was so pumped about seeing Mickey and Minnie in this little parade…

when she threw her second hand up, I melted! My day was made and by the looks of it, hers was too!

THE BEST DAY EVER! We boarded a plane early in Dallas, rode rides, ate dinner, met characters, and had an incredible time Halloween partyin’ with these girlies.

Part Two of our trip is coming up later this week so be sure to come back to check out all the fun!

When asked what topics you wanted to hear more of from The Besties, the overwhelming response was DISNEY WORLD! So we delivered! In Episode Twenty-Nine, we share how Mix and Match Travel Agency began, the services we provide for Walt Disney World, and how we plan your vacation. We also cover our fee {spoiler alert-WE’RE COMPLETELY FREE}. You can listen right here or as always on your favorite podcast platform like Apple or Spotify.

If you enjoy listening, please give us a great rating. We’d really appreciate it! And if you have more questions after listening, please e-mail those to thebestiebreakdown@gmail.com. We’ll be sure to cover them all in Part Two.

Have a great Tuesday, Everyone!

    I love vacation recaps…especially Disney!:) Does your travel agency book the flights as well?

      Hi Jamie! Thank you! We book everything through Walt Disney World. Right now Disney has closed their air department so our packages will include tickets and resort. Our clients just send us their flight information {and many want to use points or rewards anyway} and then we get the ground transportation set up. Great question though!

    I’m not seeing people in masks except for you. I’d be worried about Covid in such a crowded place where there arent masks on people.

      Disney’s mask mandate right now is masks are required indoor so anywhere inside people are all wearing masks. If you’re outside then it’s a personal preference, but indoors everyone has them on.
