I hope you had a fabulous weekend!! We’re still in “weekend” mode in our house. You gotta love a three day weekend! Today, I have a hodge podge mess for you! Super random!
I saw these shirts on Facebook and started laughing. In some ways, this really applies to my life!
On Friday, a friend text messaged me about something on Friday, and this is the picture I sent her back. Me in my bathrobe driving through the Chick-Fil-A drive-thru for lunch. Wouldn’t you know it? I pulled around the building and crossing the street was Olivia!! My “Owning It” guest from Thursday. I stopped and chatted for a second. My cover was blown. I just had to laugh. Some days you just still need to be in your pajamas at noon. Right?
Wahoo!!! I forgot the “before” pictures (and the other pictures I took were horrible), but this is the reason I was still in my pj’s at noon! I worked on Ebby Lee’s room and closet on Friday. It feels SO good to have two rooms down!
Saturday morning we had a birthday party at Kid Mania. Oh my goodness!!! I don’t think I’ve ever been on a Saturday and it was NUTS!! My kiddos had a blast, but I’ve never seen so many people. I’ve also never been so thankful for those little stamps on our hands and alarm-sounding doors!
Bowen was driving the car and this cute little girl climbed up beside him. She was all smiles and he was so embarrassed!! It was hilarious! This is his embarrassed face. hahahaha!
After pizza and birthday cake, it was time to go upstairs to play some games.
Homegirl hit the jackpot and won 1,000 tickets on this game. I had to catch myself! I wanted to jump up and down screaming, but I played it cool. 🙂
Yes. That’s Bowen over-hand throwing his ski-ball. That kid. Nixon is hardly pictured, because this is his heaven. He was only still for about two seconds before moving on to the next game! I couldn’t keep up!
And here he is celebrating.
Yesterday afternoon I got super ambitious and used Pinterest to come up with some super healthy (because it’s January…so everyone is being healthy, right?) (and yummy looking) recipes. The entire family went to the grocery store (big mistake), so instead of making “Shrimp Burgers” I opted for these salmon burgers ready to cook. We ate them on lettuce wraps and I was pleasantly surprised. The kiddos loved them too.
Today…I’m enjoying my day with these crazies. We have lots of fun plans! Hope you’re enjoying your day too! Thanks for enduring the randomness! Happy Monday! 🙂
The pic of those shirts made me laugh out loud! So funny!
What a fun weekend! I love that you were in your robe at CFA! So funny!!!
Enjoy the day off today!!!!
Can't wait to see you and your crazies today!!!!!! And that Kid Mania place makes me want to breathe into a paper bag.
Seeing you on Friday in your robe at Chickfila was funny…and I don't judge at all! I have definitely thrown a jacket over my pj's to run thru a drive-thru so it looked like I was wearing normal clothes. 🙂 I think my favorite picture is Bowen overhand throwing that ball.
Love your randomness but the pjs story tickled my funny bone the most!!! Loved that you owned it!! #keepingitreal
The Shirts describe my brother, sister and myself to a T.
I am cracking up over the robe!! This is great! Happy Monday!
You cook burgers on that thing (don't know the official name!)??! I have never cooked anything but pancakes on mine! This maybe life changing! Do you cook like hand patted burgers on it also?!
I don't think I've ever cooked regular burgers but I'm sure you could? I've also made bacon? I'm not a good expert but I use it for anything I need to make in the stove and it won't all fit in the pan.
