3 Pairs of Shoes, 3 Price Points

Happy Happy Tuesday, Everyone! My weekend involved a LOT of baseball and a LOT of driving! I apologize for this late post. When we got home on Sunday evening, I was wiped and needed to spend my extra time getting our life ready for the week.

I have a FUN post for your Tuesday tho!

I’ve seen this new slingback shoe trend hit and just wasn’t really sure how I’d feel about it OR how you’d feel about it. So I went to work. I found us a couple options. Maybe you’re barely interested and wouldn’t like to spend much on this “gateway” shoe this season. Or maybe you LOVE the look and want to add this shoe to your closet no questions asked. Either way, I’ve got you covered.

Option #1 Amazon SlingbackThe Amazon option comes in six different colors and ranges in a very “mid-price” option around $39-$42. Many colors/sizes are available in one to two day shipping with Amazon Prime.

I tried the “Brown” in my typical size and they fit great!

My thoughts-this shoe was comfortable, looked really great and I’ll be KEEPING it to add to my fall wardrobe! The buckles and grommets are a little smaller on these shoes and the color is a more matte look.

Option #2 Steve Madden Slingbacks-This option caught my eye with the patent leather and larger buckles/grommets.

Can you tell with this image the detailing is a bit more pronounced? However, this shoe rings in at the priciest option. It does come in a white as well. I’m wearing these in the black in my typical shoe size and they fit great.

My thoughts-this option was definitely the cutest. It’d be a shoe that would catch your attention and was the comfiest of them all. It’d just be deciding how often you’ll wear them at the higher price point. I’m going to keep these as well to pair with longer jeans this season.

Option #3 Target Slingbacks-These shoes come in at the lowest price point but you’ll notice there are lots of grommets and detailing missing. This shoe comes in a black or a red.

Still a very cute option if you want that same slingback buckled look with a lower price tag. This pair has lots of great reviews.

Will be really cute this fall season with jeans!

My thoughts-this shoe is the perfect addition if you want just a “gateway” type of shoe to see how often you’ll REALLY wear a slingback this season. I thought this pair had the most give in the slingback part of the shoe making it feel the loosest. {If that makes sense.}. I should have sized down half a size to make these fit better.

Just in case you’re interested, I’m wearing these jeans {in my typical size} I raved about last week.

Now what do you think? Are you into the slingback look this season or is it not your thing? I’d love to hear!

XO
