What’s Up Wednesday

I’m joining MelShay, and Sheaffer for their What’s Up Wednesday link-up!

What we’re eating this week:

Tab was out of town earlier this week so there were a whole lot of peanut butter and jellys being served for dinner.

Wednesday-Spicy Chicken and Corn Tacos-When Tab is out of town I rarely cook and I love that, but then I get to a point where I need a MEAL {You know something that I wouldn’t pack in my child’s lunchbox?}!  So I’m pumped about these tacos for dinner!

Thursday-Steak and Wedge Burgers…YESSSSS!!

Friday-Chicken Caesar Rice Bowls-I let my kids assemble these themselves and for some reason that tends to directly affect how much they eat-in a good way!

What I’m Reminiscing About:

I know.  I know.  I keep talking about it.  But I just can’t stop!  Our Spring Break Disney Land and Sea Vacation with the Shull Six was A BLAST!  It’s the kind of trip they’ll compare other vacations to forever!  If you missed any posts, you can read Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, and Part 4.

What I’m Loving:

THIS WEATHER!!!  (Well, at this EXACT moment it’s kind of yucky and raining)  BUT…the longer days and spring weather has been AWESOME!

What We’ve Been Up To:

We’ve been busy planning our April birthday celebrations.  This girl has opted for a night at Great Wolf Lodge with a friend for a more casual celebration.

And Nixon is requesting a flag football party in the park with a bunch of friends.  Well, let me rephrase that…he actually requested a tackle football party, but I told him that was not happening.  So we compromised at a flag football party.  🙂

What I’m Dreading:

I’ve taken a big long break from my decluttering, but it’s time to start again!  And I’m dreading it.  *I haven’t done a THING in an entire month.  I need to start ASAP!

What I’m Working On:

All kinds of Disney Land and Sea Vacations for families like YOU!  If you’ve been thinking of taking a Disney World vacation or maybe a Disney Cruise or possibly even combining them, then please shoot us an e-mail.  We’d love to help!
mixandmatchtravelagency@yahoo.com
We’re also sending new clients to Mexico and cruises all over the world.

What I’m Excited About:

I’m working on a post answering all kinds of cleft-related questions.  I’m by NO means an expert, but I do think it’d be so helpful to have lots of information all in one place.  If you’re a cleft mama I’d love for you to contribute.  If you have any helpful hints, suggestions, or even questions, please send them my way.  You can e-mail me at alittlebitofeverything83@yahoo.com.

What I’m watching/reading:

I just finished this book and I could NOT stop talking about it.  Ask any of my girlfriends, we’d be chatting about school homework and I’d somehow steer the conversation back to Elizabeth Smart and this book!  It’s horrific and awful and my heart breaks that a fourteen-year-old girl had to go through this, but her outlook on life is simply amazing.  You should read this one!

I’m watching The Real Housewives of Atlanta because I just can’t stop. #still

And the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills because one of these shows just wouldn’t be enough.  hahaha!

What I’m Listening To:

This soundtrack is playing in my car 24/7. #still

And we’ve been listening to “Thunder” by Imagine Dragons.  I’m not sure who asked about this song, but a kiddo did and we’re still listening.  #stilllisteningtothisonetoo

What I’m Wearing:

I’ve been wearing this dress and loving it!

Also this one is a new favorite too!

And because I’m apparently having no shame while I work on this post, I’m sharing that picture of my crazy hair again!  ha!  Someone asked about the shoes I’m wearing and they’re the perfect spring shoe.  Right now, it’s a bit too cool at night to wear sandals but I don’t want to wear booties…so these are the perfect alternative.  I also have this pair, but I’d say the black ones are my comfortable.

What I’m Doing This Weekend:

Celebrating Easter with my family.

What I’m Looking Forward to Next Month:

We have a fun April planned….two big birthdays happen in our house, a family visit, lots of baseball and volleyball games, and tons of spring weather that allows us to play outside until bedtime.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  XO
