What’s Up Wednesday! I’m gonna link up with Sheaffer and Shay to answer a little about what’s going on around here.
Well, it appears as though the early summer we were having is now gone. Did you wake up colder wherever you live as well? I’m hopping right into what’s been going on around here lately…
What We’re Eating This Week
Monday-Ebby Lee and I had a cheer meeting and then a little dinner out to celebrate. Tab had the other kids and while I gave him lots of directions on what was in the refrigerator to eat…they went to Chick-fil-A after football practice. ha!
Tuesday-I don’t even know what I’d call this exactly but it’s the typical “chicken lettuce wrap” meat so ground chicken with some seasonings. But we eat that on a bowl, edamame, veggies, rice, etc.
Wednesday-CHILI! Today might be one of the last “cooler” days of our winter so I’m taking full advantage tonight!
Thursday-Breakfast for dinner….I might end up making some kind of quiche so everyone can eat when they need to. Or if I’ll be more a short order cook and will scramble eggs every hour as kids come in from practices. ha!
Friday-There’s an elementary school dance so my date is gonna take me to dinner afterwards. ha!
What I’m Reminiscing About
Spring Break views from 2023! GORGEOUS!!
This year we’re trading in the sand and sun for snow and slopes!
What I’m Loving
I’m loving that BASEBALL SEASON is upon us! Are my weekends gonna be way more chaotic? Yes! But I’m loving it all the same.
What We’ve Been Up To
Ebby Lee and a friend worked with this group of eight-second grade boys for about six weeks on a really cute dance in the elementary talent show. The “stick figure” guys did an amazing job!
Tab and I did a lot of patio furniture shopping over the last few weekends and finally purchased some new furniture. Can’t wait to show it to you when it’s all complete. We have a couple things we’re waiting on but so far-I’m in love!
Lots of these views are in our future!
And Ebby Lee and I got to watch our first official tennis game/match this week.
What I’m Working On
Disney World just released their packaged pricing through October 31, 2025. I’ve been working on reaching out to all my clients interested in a magical vacation in the upcoming year. If you’re interested, please reach out to us! We’d love to help your family as well!
What I’m Excited About
COLLEGE BASEBALL! A few years ago our family REALLY got into college baseball and it just kind of stuck! Now I get excited about it every spring!
What I’m Watching/Reading
I’m PUMPED to be reading The Women by Kristin Hannah. I’ve already heard so many good things about this one. Can’t wait to finish this one!
Tab and I are ALMOST finished with the second season of The Gilded Age! I loved this one!
What I’m Listening To
If you haven’t listened to The Lazy Genius podcast, you’re missing out! I’m LOVING it!
What I’m Wearing
This is my jacket I’ve been wearing on repeat and it’s almost officially tennis skirt season. I wore this one earlier this week {sized up for length and it’s still on the shorter side}.
What I’m Doing This Weekend
THIS!!! hahahahaha! If you’re a sports mom, then you know. 😉
What I’m Looking Forward to Next Month
This pic was taken when McKinney got some snow but we’ll look VERY similar next month on Spring Break!
Hope you guys have a GREAT Wednesday! Thanks for reading today!
XO

YES!
What a great month! I can’t believe how crazy your weather has been! I can’t wait to start reading The Women. I’m trying to finish The Frozen River now. I’m excited to hear about your new patio furniture! It looks beautiful!
Alison, you’re going to LOVE Frozen River!
Oooooh! Loving the new patio furniture!!!!
You’ll have to come over to hang out in the backyard!
I keep putting it off, but you convinced me, I’m starting The Gilded Age at lunch today!
DO IT!!
Yes to the colder weather this morning! Green Bay hit 70 degrees yesterday and we woke up to a couple of inches of snow, below zero wind chills and a return to winter! The hint of warmth yesterday made me completely ready for spring and summer!
OH my goodness!!!
