What We’re Eating This Week
This week I’m doing all I can to make things a little extra festive…
Monday-Spaghetti-EASY!
Tuesday-Chicken Pot Pie Soup with Mummy Dogs-Busy day/night calls for dinner in the slow cooker with a side of mummy dogs so everyone’s happy.
Wednesday-Chicken and Sausage Gumbo-Another dinner in the slow cooker-WIN for mom!
Thursday-Grabbing Dinner Out-Thursdays our house gets cleaned and it never fails, I tend to make something REALLY messy on these nights. Trying to be more intentional about making clean {easy meals}. Since we’re eating at home on Halloween, we’ll eat out on Thursday!
Friday-Ghoul-Ash will be served! I think I might have an extra kid or two. If so, I’ll grab a jack-o-lantern pizza to go with the pasta.
What I’m Reminiscing About
Halloween from years ago! Let me tell you, there will come a day when school events will happen whether it’s Halloween night or not. ENJOY the days where practice/games aren’t happening because your kids are little. Seriously, ENJOY!
What I’m Loving
This isn’t quite the case here YET, but I love the early days of winter. The early dark evenings cause us to slow down, our schedules get a little quieter, and I’m a fan! {By spring, I’ll be itching for a change but for now I soak it up!}.
What We’ve Been Up To
Decorating pumpkins! YES! Tab does a good job of getting the back patio extra cozy so we can do it all out there. We didn’t agree on a spooky movie so football won over this year. Please note, Tab got SERIOUS about his carving.

Thinking about when I’ll decorate for Christmas and what I can change up this year!

We took family pictures over Fall Break and I’m so excited about seeing how they turned out! Fingers crossed!

This past weekend I wore this dress {small} and these boots {true to size} to church.
What I’m Reading
I finally broke down and started a new book, Broken Country. I’m loving it so far!
What I’m Watching
Nobody Wants This Season 2 just came out and it’s such a good show! You can see it on Netflix!
What I’m Listening To
Hmmmmm…I LOVE my family but right this second as I type my house is silent. That’s a sweet sound too. 😉

Latest Amazon Purchase
Amazon recommended Elin Hilderbrand’s new book, The Academy, so I ordered. Can’t wait to give this a shot!
