I stared a new series back in February called, “What I’m Priming”, where every six weeks or so, I’ll highlight some of the things I’ve ordered from my beloved, Amazon Prime. You can see my first post here. These items could range from kiddos’ birthday presents to home office supplies and everything in between. I’m not a fan of driving all the way to a store to get one thing, so you better believe if I can Prime it, I will!
This series seemed to be a hit because….
1. You guys are nosey like me and it’s fun to take a peek at others’ orders!
2. It gave you some ideas on what you should be priming too.
3. Some of you recommended things I should be priming, which I REALLY appreciated! Keep those suggestions coming!
Like I said, I’ll try to do a new post with updated items every six weeks or so. And keep scrolling for a review of some of the items I’ve been using a while. 🙂
Here’s What I’ve Been Priming lately…
This is something I don’t think about purchasing until I’m completely out and NEED some. I tend to stock up when I get some so I’m good for a while. This cute pack of file folders just makes me happy while I’m working and sometimes you need to be surrounded by some happy. I also purchased this set.
Let me tell you…Nixon Slaughter is NOT pumped about this one. His Living History Museum is happening soon for his second grade class and he is representing George Washington. The wig was a MUST! But knowing that Nixon doesn’t even like to participate in school pajama days, this is gonna be tough for him! {For some reason, I could NOT get Nixon to model this for the blog.}
I’ve heard great things about this book {and haven’t even started it just yet}, but I ordered the book to read soon. Have you read it?
I ordered this tea set for a little four-year-old’s birthday present. I’ve heard from my girlfriend {the mama} it was a hit!
It was actually a “sister” party where we celebrated both girls and I grabbed this unicorn purse for the little sister.
I’ve gotta be honest. I ordered these before our Spring Break trip and when they arrived I changed my mind and didn’t use them. I think I will for the next trip, but they overwhelmed me just a bit. When we went to China, I packed each kiddos’ clothes in a ziploc complete with underwear, socks, bow…anything they’d need that day. I labeled the bag and it worked GREAT! Since we were going for eight nights-I just thought my ziploc plan would work better.
Can you believe out of ALL those vacation pics there’s no picture of me in this cover-up?
I struggle with cover-ups. The ones that look fabulous are typically cost way too much for a cover-up {in my opinion}. But the inexpensive ones usually shrink and are a long shirt on me by mid-summer. So I’m all over the place on cover-ups. I ordered several from random stores before we left all ranging in prices and thought-“I should check Amazon”. Well, Amazon didn’t let me down. I must tell you…the tassels on this cover-up aren’t going to last all summer. But for $12.50 I’m taking the risk! It’s see-through so not something you’d wear out to run errands really before heading to the pool, but perfect for going directly to the pool.
I purchased this item back in February, used it every morning and night, and am already out! I’ve heard great things about Vitamin C serums and wanted to grab one that wouldn’t break the bank. I really liked it. Something I’m learning about my skin is the more I hydrate, the better it looks so I’d highly recommend this if you’re looking for a new product.
Someone recommended this to me {and you know I love a good product recommendation}. It’s a drying lotion that you put on any blemishes at night before bed. It helps to dry them out and get rid of the blemish ASAP. I used it a few times over the past couple weeks and have been happy with how those blemishes look in the morning. You’re not supposed to shake up the little jar, but just dab the liquid on. I’m not saying it’s magic, BUT I do think it helped.

The most asked questions last time were about these two products…
Have you heard of dermaplaning? It’s an exfoliation process that essentially shaves the skin’s surface. This gets rid of dead skin and little hairs and is proven to be highly effective for your skin. Lots of bloggers do this themselves and after years of reading about it, I finally took the plunge. I buy these little facial razors and do it every two to three weeks. You can find a ton of YouTube videos on how to do this, but it leaves my skin feeling so fresh and clean. I must say-I’ve never gotten any kind of razor burn, acne, or anything like that but I don’t want to say it couldn’t happen.
I got asked a lot about HOW I do this. I’d recommend watching a YouTube video to see the exact process, but it’s super easy. With those little razors, you’re simply shaving your face. I always make sure to hold my skin tight on the side I’m shaving. It gets rid of hairs and skin and seriously leaves your face feeling great!
This little product was popping up everywhere. I saw it on blogs, heard it on podcasts, read about it online…I’m telling you it was haunting me. So I ordered it a couple weeks ago and have been using it as a toner after I use my cleanser both morning and night. It’s supposed to make my skin “BLOOM”. Again, this product has 4.5 stars with over 10,000 ratings so it has to work. Right? And the price is GREAT!
Am I noticing changes from using this toner? Not really. I think it smells great and it makes me feel like I’m doing something good for my skin so those are win-wins. I’ve hardly used any of the bottle so one bottle will last me a long time. Anyone noticing changes in their skin from this toner?

That wraps up my post today! If you have something you’ve been priming you’d love to share with us, please comment and let us know what we need to be having shipped to our house too!
Hope you have a great Wednesday!
