Walt Disney World Fall 2019-Part One

HAPPY MONDAY!

Last week was nothing short of MAGICAL for me.  Thanks to Mix and Match Travel as well as all of our amazing clients, I got to participate in a fall experiences training program at Walt Disney World a big part of last week.  This program was all about sharing new things happening at Walt Disney World this fall from experiences to new resort renovations as well as prepare for many new things coming to Walt Disney World soon.
I boarded my Tuesday morning flight bright and early.  Thanks to my Kindle Paperwhite I finished a book and started a new one.

BLOGGER FAIL…missed the sign completely!

Just a few minutes later we pulled up to our resort for the program, Caribbean Beach Resort.

Caribbean Beach Resort has recently gone through refurbishments and this new lobby area is stunning.

The check-in area was gorgeous.

My room wasn’t ready quite yet so I headed over to the quick service area to grab a little lunch.  This pizza was everything I hoped it would be and more.

Then I set up shop in the lobby and got to work!

After a little work time, my room was ready so I headed off to get freshened up.

See the new Riviera Resort?

A look at my room…

My dress is here.

Really quickly I headed down to meet the group and look who was waiting for us…

A big ole group of Minnie Vans-aren’t they cute?

We had meetings/training as a big group before they set us loose for an evening in Magic Kingdom at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party.
The fall decorations were my absolute FAVORITE!  Do you see that garland?

These fall Mickey wreaths were everywhere and were so pretty.  This group of girls and I hung out all week and they were precious.

There’s just something magical about Main Street in Magic Kingdom.

We hit up a couple rides with Seven Dwarfs Mine Train being top of the list.

Stepping off the ride, we almost collided with Cruella herself.

Then it was time for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party.

The characters were OUT for the party.

The entrance to the Skipper Canteen was showing off at sunset…on our trip in April Shay and I took Bowen and Ashby here for dinner.

What’s more magical than THE CASTLE at night?

We walked past the Monster’s Inc. crew having a dance party.

And then can you spy who was having a little show at the castle?

The Sanderson Sisters 🙂

We rested up a bit waiting for Mickey’s Boo to You Halloween Parade to begin.

Cruella’s Halloween Hide-A-Way was up next.

Cruella was the STAR of this show.  She came around to each table taking pictures and being well, EXACTLY like how you’d imagine Cruella to be…speaking her mind and a bit rude.  Our table thought she was hysterical.  One of the ladies in our group had enjoyed a dessert that left her entire mouth-teeth, gums, everything BLUE.  Cruella wasn’t expecting that and almost broke character because of this situation.  Needless to say, our table was rolling.

Cruella’s party was full of savory treats as well as a delicious buffet of desserts.

A super cute way to end our first day.

Remember if you’d like to head to Walt Disney World soon, we’d love to help you with all the planning.  We’ll take care of all the details!  Just send an e-mail to mixandmatchtravelagency@yahoo.com to get started!

Part Two is coming tomorrow!

My family has gone to Disney World twice during fall. Last year we did the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. It is so fun and the decorations are amazing! My daughter STILL sings the parade song and knows the dances from the parade baton twirlers and the graveyard guys. So fun to see the pics!

I have stayed in the Caribbean Hotel a couple of times and we always stay in the pirate rooms, so we these the new rooms there? I have always thought about staying in the regular rooms but isnt it kind of hike from the main area? Were you able to ride the new Gondola rides?
Did you actually do trick or treating? I would love the details on that, we love Disney but I have never been to Not so scary, I also heard its not worth standing in lines for rides, try to do all the other things, special shows and characters, would you agree? Also for you travel agency can you get better deals then I can get as a florida resident and passholder? Sorry for all the questions but I have always wanted to do not so scary, love your pictures!

We love Fall at Disney. The not so scary party was a blast, love how all the villains are out and the Parade was so fun. We got a picture with all 7 dwarfs, long line but worth it. Absolutely fascinates me how Disney can clear out the regular park goers from the ones staying for the party!!! Looks like you had a great time!!!

So much fun – loving hearing about your recent trip to WDW! The Halloween party is our FAVORITE! We love that parade so much! I haven't been since 2012 – does the Headless Horseman still lead it? Did you get to experience the lady who sits outside The Haunted Mansion and jokingly talks with guests? Love-love-love all of those experiences, but especially the fall decorations! Now we are crossing another item off of our bucket list and visiting in December and attending the Christmas party! All of our visits have been planned around the free dining promotion and we'll be visiting the Hoop-Dee-Do (a family favorite, can't recommend it enough for your guests), Whispering Canyon Café (another fave) and Be Our Guest during the Christmas party evening. I can hardly wait! Thanks, as always, for sharing your experiences!

We often visit WDW in Sept. and I just love their fall decorations; but I am dying to see their Christmas decorations… and have made a promise to myself to get there one of these days in November.
