Friday:
I was one of those super early Christmas decorators this year. Don’t hate. 🙂 hahaha! It just worked out that way with Tab’s football schedule. This past weekend I was so thankful it was already finished! On Friday night, we made a fire, turned on all the pretty twinkling lights, and had a sleepover in the living room beside the Christmas tree.
Saturday:
We had a fun day running some errands. We met some friends for lunch and then had some friends come over for dinner/playing. Before our friends got there Ebby Lee put some make-up on. She actually did a pretty good job. A little later, I noticed the Bowen and Ebby Lee were really quiet. I guess she talked him into playing “make-up”. hahaha! He was so proud!
This is…”close your eyes, Bowen”.
Sunday:
Sunday morning was CHILLY and WET!! We got bundled up for church.
And..Ebby Lee and I attended a super cute Baby Doll Picnic birthday party!
Monday:
We celebrated someone’s birthday a little early yesterday!! Bowen’s actual birthday is on Thanksgiving this year. Our plan is to celebrate a bit with family, but I invited a few friends to Chick-Fil-A yesterday to party too. It was super small and laid back. Perfect for the third kid, right?? He loved it!
He got some cool toys, BIG BOY UNDERWEAR, and fun snacks!
Can I just tell you that after lunch we went back to our house and Bowen told me he needed to potty on the potty. He’s NEVER said that before. I took him and he WENT!! Then I tried putting his diaper back on and he wasn’t having it. After about five minutes of him being completely naked (he kept saying his underwear was “too scary”. I have NO clue what he was talking about, but I was super scared of putting him in underwear too!! hahaha!), he finally agreed to put his diaper on! Whew! I definitely don’t think he’s ready for that just yet, but we’re on our way!
Sweet boys!! Nixon, Smith, and Bowen…Easiest party (if you can call it that) ever! We had some Mickey Mouse plates, Chick-Fil-A kid’s meals, and party favors!
One of Bowen’s little friends, Baker, was there. As I was uploading pictures to my computer I accidentally erased the picture of Baker having his first sip of apple juice!! I seriously screamed, “NOOO!”. And…the other picture of Baker had his mom in mid-sentence talking, so I knew she would have preferred me NOT use that one. 🙂
And…Miss Presley was also in attendance. 🙂 I clearly did a HORRIBLE job at pictures!
We had ice cream for dessert and B was in heaven!
Bowen had a FABULOUS lunch hanging with all his favorite people!
Hope you guys had a great weekend as well!

We had the best time celebrating Bowen's birthday! I can't believe my baby is already two!! (Insert me sobbing!)
What a fun weekend! We had a great time celebrating your sweet boy! Xoxo n
What a fun weekend! What a super cute almost 2 year old!!!!
Happy Birthday Bowen!!!!! And for the record, that is my type of party. Please tell me you didn't send out invitations, but rather just a text that said something like "Let's meet at Chick-Fil-A." If so, I'm totally copying your party idea next year. 🙂
Happy Birthday Bowen! My birthday is on turkey day this year too. Looks like you had great fun celebrating!
Bowen looks FAB in some eyeshadow! Can't believe that sweet boy is TWO!!!
What a fun weekend! That slumber party by the tree sounds wonderful! And your family is just PRECIOUS! 🙂

1- thank you for not posting the mid sentence pic!! 2. When I put Baker down for his nap he cried "shake it off" over and over. I blame the apple juice!! 3. Thanks for inviting us! We had fun! 4. I am happy that Bowen is my birthday twin!!
That sounds like an easy, but great party for Bowen! I think I need to rethink Xavier's party in a couple of weeks 🙂
And I have all of my trees and decor up as well! It is just so warm and cozy coming into the house with the trees lit!
Your house = gorgeous! Thanks for having us over…I might send Maddox over to your house every night Ryan's gone so he's chill. 🙂 I'm still impressed at Ebby Lee's makeup skills!
Your tree looks super and I love the idea of a sleepover in the living room with the twinkling tree!
Two already!? He's so adorable!
Exciting that the diapers are on their way out 🙂
Happy early birthday, Bowen!!
My family put up our Christmas Tree this past Friday, along with some other decor. The kids were super excited and so was my husband and I. 🙂
