San Diego Getaway-Part 2

Today, I’m finishing up my San Diego Getaway recap.  If you missed Part 1, you can read it here.

I left off with Tab and I setting out on a little adventure Monday afternoon.

Our first stop was George’s at the Cove in La Jolla.  A girlfriend recommended it for lunch and I’m so glad she did.

Check out these crispy shrimp tacos…SO SO VERY GOOD!

The views from George’s were AMAZING!

We took a little walk around the cove.  I kept talking about how gorgeous it was.

Tab’s first response was, “Look at all that poop”.  Perspective…right??  I seriously hadn’t even noticed.

Then we took an Uber over to Torrey Pines park to hike up to the top.  If you watched my Insta-Stories, Tab totally thought we were racing each other and anyone else we happened to encounter.  I, on the other hand, was expecting a leisurely stroll.

Right at the top Tab stopped to stretch so I sprinted to the end of the look out to let him know I won.  Because we’re mature like that.  🙂

The views from the top were totally worth it!

I preferred going down the hill.

We finally made our way back to the resort and snuck in a little more relaxation time poolside.

We had reservations for dinner in Del Mar and we got lazy, cancelled them, and had dinner at our resort instead.  Outfit details…White TopBootcut Jeans.

Dinner on the patio didn’t disappoint.

Tuesday morning -Tab had meetings so I ordered a nice room service breakfast and did some work on the computer.  Then we set out for our winery tour excursion.

They fed us lunch and then we had a 15-20 minute tour of the winery.

The Orfila Winery was GORGEOUS!

One last cocktail reception/dinner to end the event.

My dress is here.  I’m in an extra small {so I sized down} and I used a safety pin to make sure nothing would be showing that shouldn’t be.  It made me feel better knowing everything was secure.  I also saw someone wear this as a kimono….white top and cute jeans.  It was super cute too!

 Cocktail reception with a VIEW!

Wednesday morning, we were up and at ’em to head to the airport.

This white eyelet top is on sale and when you add it to your cart, it’s an additional 40% off!  GREAT deal!  I’m wearing a 6.

We snuck in one last delicious breakfast before it was time to head home.  Let me tell you…that hash brown was the most delicious thing EVER!

I ended my trip watching Instant Family.  You guys!  It was SO CUTE!  I might have been crying in my seat, but you need to watch it!

This time away with Tab is so nice.  We had a great trip-just the two of us and really cherished all of our solo time.  That wraps up my recap.  Like I said, we need to head back ASAP in order to hit all the places you guys recommended.  Thank you for those!  I’m saving them for next time!

Happy Tuesday, Everyone!
