I have a random bag of thoughts for your Monday…
*If you follow me on Instagram, then you might have noticed I dusted the cobwebs off my profile and have been cleaning things up and actually posting consistently. In the past, Instagram was always the first to go when life got busy, but I actually found myself that first week kids went back to school with {dare I say it} extra time on my hands?! I started digging into how to update my Instagram and voila! Here we are!

I’m sharing family life, game day fashion, fall outfits, holiday decor and so much more! I hope you’ll join me! I’ve had a cold for like two weeks so if you listen to my videos and think, “She sounds nasally”, it’s because I am! ha! I just started meds for a sinus infection because #itsbeentwoweeks!

*Another thing I’m doing is sharing those same finds over on the LTK app. I know my mom reading this is confused about what LTK is so I’m going to explain to her and should you be feeling the same way, I hope this helps. LTK is basically a shopping platform where you can follow your favorite “creators” {I’m using that in quotations because I don’t think of myself that way but just someone who’s sharing/recommending.}. You’ll see all kinds of recommendations from the people you follow and can shop directly from that app. You click on a shirt and it’ll take you directly to the site where you can purchase. You find me on LTK. This app happens to be one of my favorite places to find ideas for gifts every holiday season!

*I shared some of my FAVORITE things to use to decorate for Game Day! You can see all my faves right here. I re-use most of these items every year for multiple events and then pack them away until next football or even baseball season.

*Our menu this week…
Monday-Chicken & Rice with green beans. It’s an oldie but goodie!
Tuesday-TACO TUESDAY…I usually make several pounds of extra taco meat anytime we have tacos for lunches/leftovers.
Wednesday-Those leftovers I mentioned above will be used on Wednesday. 1/2 of us have plans on Wednesday so the other half at home can have a leftover taco or taco bowl.
Thursday-Shay’s Beer Cheese Sloppy Joe’s with a veggie + sweet potato fries.
Friday-we’ll eat out before the football game.
What do you guys have on your menu this week?! I’m anxiously awaiting a cool day so I can make my first batch of chili for the season!

College Gameday is one of my FAVORITE things about the fall! According to your messages, I think lots of you are fans too! Anyway, I looked at my calendar this weekend and whoever schedules Britt’s softball games must have assumed that none of the parents on her team enjoyed sipping our coffee while we watched College Gameday on Saturday mornings. I kid. She’s off next Saturday so you better believe I’ll be sitting on my couch with coffee in hand waiting for this to start at 8:00 a.m.!

Speaking of football, my Instagram algorithm must have me figured out because it suggested this candle for me…
it just arrived over the weekend and dare I say that it truly smells like GAME DAY?! I got sucked right into the website and ordered a couple candles. I can’t wait to try Cozy Sweater. Somehow they seem to have nailed that scent as well.
